In the ash‑stained realm of Abyss, blackened forests and abyssal oceans teem with zombies, beasts, and a staggering variety of life that thrives amid perpetual decay, while humanity struggles at the bottom of a grim food chain. Magic, inherited through bloodlines and fiercely cultivated by a selective church, fuels constant wars among the few fragile kingdoms, turning every clash into a desperate gamble between survival and the dark forces that hunger for dominion.

World Overview

The world is in a constant state of dying. Most of its terrain is made up of fields of soot, deep, dark forest, blackened and rocky mountains, and abyssal oceans. Despite this, there is an abnormal amount of species and beast. Humans are near the bottom of the food chain. The world is set in a medieval era, dependent on a huge and wide range of magic.

Geography & Nations

There are very few kingdoms. Most of the world is made up of monster, not man, so kingdoms are not easily developed. Illness plagues the majority of the little civilization there is. Fields made up of nothing but beast and human remains stretch on for miles. Dark, winding forest house unimaginable beast, alive and dead. Oceans swell with leviathans, churning in the abyss.

There is a multitude of races, too many to count. Some cannot be differentiated from monsters. Extreme diversity everywhere.

Current Conflicts

constant conflict between every kingdom that does exist. Priest lead churches to war, old gods decimate the landscape daily, and zombie and disease tear through settlements. Titans and leviathans swallow ships and people.

Magic & Religion

Magic is passed down through bloodlines. Each family, no matter how weak or feeble, (most are), have powers engrained in their genetics. Sometimes, people can be born with the capability to use multiple magics. Magic can cost a lot to use for some, or cost nothing for others. It is all genetic. The church selectively chooses its followers to marry and create stronger bloodlines of magic.

Historical Ages

Very little about the past is known. One of the only things is that beast were there before this abysal world, and they will be here long after.

The majority of the landscape is overcome with zombies and beast alike. Old gods are the largest threat, as well as demi-gods and behemoth creatures twice the size as mountians.
