It contains demons, a much darker and more powerful version of Succubus and powerful forgotten eldritch gods who wish destroy the gods and goddesses of our world. Sufficiently powerful dark sorcerers can summon entities from this realm and travel to and from.

The dark age was the first age, before the gods and goddesses sealed the eldritch entities in Glinvanesh. The age of mortal was the second, when the gods and goddesses brought life to the lands and there was peace amongst all. The current age is the age of war, where mortals fight over territories.

Those who break the law are put in dungeons until they can receive a fair trial, especially bad offenses can warrant the death penalty, but mostly people just get time in the dungeon. Adventurers are seen as helpful and sought after to help with quests.
