In the world of Blood & Ink, the planet is reminiscent of Earth but packed with varying cities and towns cascaded in all kinds of styles, colors, graffiti, and designs. This modern world was formed by "The Era of Ink" -A moment in time where the first few beings were born with 1 to 4 tattoos already imbedded into their skin. Each Tattoo that a person was born with would signify a power that they would hold. People born with 1 tattoo were a 1 in 1000 person chance, making them not exactly common but nowhere near super rare. People born with more than 1 tattoo were an Extreme rarity and called "Ink Kin" for the possibility of them being descendants of the very first few "Ink Born" during the Era of Ink. Tattoos go up to 4 max for any one lucky enough to had been born with them. This world's magic is solely tied to the Tattoos that people are born with, this is how they use it for combat, day to day activities, work, careers, Sports and Competitions, and sometimes even power. Being an "Ink Born" or "Ink Kin" comes with its draw backs in how the abilities can be used being tied to the creativity and will of the carrier. In the Era of Ink, Many Ink Born were often born with Tattoos signifying curses called "Sigils", These would give birth to Cursed Tattoo Markings Like that of "The 7 Deadly sins", Ouroboros.

In this world, the "magic" is channeled as a power coming from the individual's Tattoo or Sigil. These Tattoos or Sigils grant an ability in relation to the design of it. The use of the ability, how powerful it is, and how it can be applied to the person's life is dependent on the creativity of the owner. Tattoos are for those that are "Ink Born" or "Ink Kin", and can vary based on the upbringing of an individual, the personality, Family Lineage, or will of a person. Ink Born can only manifest one Tattoo in their life time, Ink Kin can manifest up to 3 Tattoos in their lifetime, and Sigils are cursed to a single user at a time-meaning that no Sigil can exist within two different people in one lifetime. Known Ancient Sigils include the following: Ouroboros: The sigil of Ouroboros Curses the person that owns it with Eternal and self-sustaining life. This curse grants immortality but brings in the ever present ache and sickliness of a cancer will spread all throughout the body- constantly killing and reviving the users Organs in the most painful manner possible all for the sake of survival. New cells attacks and eat the old cells creating an indefinitely reviving body that will never know the peace of aging, and the sweet release of death. Ouroboros can only be passed off to another person who is willing to bare the weight of the curse, this lifts the curse from the previous owner- allowing the cancer to accelerate and failure of their organs to begin immediately. The previous owner dies 7 days after the transfer of the Sigil, and the new owner fully integrates with the Sigil upon the previous owners death. Lilith: Lilith was the rebellious first wife of Adam, who defied and severed their connection with god in pursuit of Individual freedom. Lilith's sigil grants the owner the ability to Defy one rule or law of their choosing at a time, in exchange for their connection to humanity. The owner no longer experiences human emotions, no will, motivation, joy or sadness. They will forever be empty. The Leviathan's Cross: The owner of this sigil will conjure hell fire and brimstone creating Sulfur Dioxide. Burning sulfur creates sulfur dioxide, which can contribute to air pollution and acid rain. The owner suffocates the air and creates clouds of acid rain in their wake. The exchange is that the air is harmful to them as well as having to endure the hellfire to create the Sulfur. Eye of Horus: Eye of Ra: Calling forth the destructive nature of Sekhmet, The owner of the Eye of Ra can bring forth a Rage that burns away at a persons body from the inside, spikes temperature a and causing an uncurable fever that will not be quelled by pity or apologies. All that are in this effected area can only pray that the owner is merciful. War: The sigil of blood shed and conquest in the guise of Unity in the face of a threat, war has no winners- only a thirst for the carnage and destruction that must come from triumphant colonization. The War Sigil calls forth a frenzy of patriotism under the owner, drawing the violent and weak minded to him in droves. Jarheads and gladiators come forth, and find glory in the name of your nation. Out of his choosing, War can raise dead warriors and soldiers fallen in battle from valhalla- commissioning them to fight on his behalf. Min developed her sigil after seeing the beauty in others and writhing in jealousy over what she had seemingly lacked. At the age of 13, Min had shed her mortal body, becoming a shadow of her former self. She would create lesser copy of other people's features, personalities, and even abilities, never quite becoming them fully. As Min would add others to herself she would slowly lose her own identity, becoming the literal shadow of the person she'd mimic. In this formless state, her envy grew from an insecure jealousy, to a violent and spiteful yearn for everything she felt she'd lack; Little did Min know, the sigil was feeding her insecurities and delusions, and for as long as she dawns the sigil of Envy- She will never truly see herself as whole and enough. -Lust (Venus Langstrom): barring the lust Sigil. Venus grew up not knowing what real love was only being able to be seen as what people desired and yearned for, even their own parents didn’t know their real form only what each other desired to have growing up learning to control that power Venus learned to use the desire of others turning them into zombies using her body odor or what they called their fragrance also being able to manipulate and control plant life but withering it with lust every time they control it Venus looks androgynous not looking like a set gender in the eyes of someone not in their control but the only ones to ever by pass the condition has been the sins fights with a rose rapier -Greed (Yulis Musid): What Greed lacks is Pride. Greed's sigil manifested from their birth mark area at age of 8. This awakened a desire to acquire any thing they strived to have. The ability that backs their desires is one were they pursue aspirations with cold calculation, hunting it like prey. The more he is denied the object of his greed, the stronger his pursuit becomes, changing them into an unstoppable force of Greed. Nothing stands between them and their desire. -Gluttony (Volker Leer(German)) barring the gluttony sin Volker at the age 7Volker was growing in size only capping at it 350 pounds but it doesn’t make him sluggish Volker sin tattoo allows him to eat anything I MEAN ANYTHING when big and fat he grows a mouth on his stomach allowing him to eat or even speak from there he can also spit out purple sludge acid or harden it for a more consecrated beam his tattoo allows him to take off flesh from others or him to heal regurgitating the pieces of meat and flesh on him he also has a skinny form where he does get much slower but a lot stronger once running out of fuel to eat the mouth from his hands turns to two mouths on his hands he also has an endless inventory of weapons in his stomach -Wrath (Alastor(British)) being the dog of the sins in a way Alastor doesn’t think all the time he just acts being head of the police department he doesn't keep the streets safe he in acts his violent wills thats his way in keeping street gangs and inklings alike on a leash his tattoo empowers him the more angry he gets but also dulling his brain making him mindless and senseless but still a scary battle tactician he also has fire manipulation which burns brighter but blacker the angrier he gets making it near impossible to extinguish wrath is really just a kid not really being a grow man but
