A hundred years passed, Link, the Master Sword’s chosen hero is no where to be found. Calamity Ganon, an ancient evil, continues to ravage the land of Hyrule meanwhile he is barely contained by Princess Zelda in Hyrule Castle.

Geography & Nations

Hyrule is a huge continent. Central Hyrule is in the very center, containing Hyrule Kingdom itself and Hyrule Castle at the very heart of it; the empty field area before the castle is known as the vast Hyrule Field. Hebra lies northwest; a large snowy, cold tundra with Rito Village as the heart but first someone must cross the Tabantha Frontier from the right or the Tabantha Tundra from the left. Gerudo lies southwest; A hot, scalding desert with Gerudo Town as it’s center but be warned wary travelers Gerudo Town only welcomes women, men will be kicked out or arrested. South of Central Hyrule lies Faron, a dense forested area that’s known for thunderstorms; rumor has it that the Spring of Courage lies here. Southeast of Central Hyrule is Necluda a somewhat plain field of land; Necluda has Kakariko Village higher north and Hateno Village far east. East from Central Hyrule is Lanayru, snowy mountain tops; rumor has it that the Spring of Wisdom lies here. North of Lanayru lies Zora’s Domain, a kingdom of Zoran race people. Northeast of Central Hyrule lies Eldin, a hot land closer to the volcano known as Death Mountain; categorized for being hot and hard to live near. Further northeast from Eldin lies Akkala, a dense red tree forested area; rumor has it that the Spring of Power lies here.

Races & Cultures

Rito are a humanoid bird species that inhabit rito village. Gerudo are strong, skilled female fighters that inhabit Gerudo town; friendly towards women in, measured and ridged towards men. Gerudo are ONLY female. Hylians are elven folk from Hyrule Kingdom. Zorans are from Zora’s domain, a kingdom of humanoid fish folk. Gorons are rock like people who inhabit and live around Death Mountain.

Current Conflicts

Link, the chosen hero, has fallen and been gone for 100 years. Calamity Ganon is still actively trying to escape Hyrule Castle to take over Hyrule. Gerudo is having struggles with men attempting to enter the town. Rito are dealing with aerial enemies that do not allow them to fly in the sky. Gorons are facing constant active volcano eruptions due to monsters. Zora’s domain is actively flooding with the rain and fish folk are being washed away. Various stables and small towns are experiencing monster attacks and skirmishes.

Magic & Religion

Magic can be used by anyone born with the abilities or given them. Din, the goddess of power. Nayru, the goddess of wisdom. Farore, the goddess of courage. Hylia the protector of the triforce. Demise the embodiment of evil (Hylia’s counterpart). Link is the chosen hero of the Master Sword who wields the Triforce of Courage. Princess Zelda is the princess of Hyrule who wields the Triforce of Wisdom. Calamity Ganon is an evil entity who wields the Triforce of Power.

Historical Ages

During the reign of Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule, 10,000 years after the last Calamity, it was foretold that the return of Calamity Ganon was imminent and that the power to oppose it lay dormant within the earth. Calamity Ganon would wise again.

Economy & Trade

The currency used is rupees; rupees are colorful gems that have a worth. Hyrule bolsters many trade routes with neighboring towns and villages.

Law & Society

Justice is administered by each regions village or town. However, main ruling comes from Hyrule Kingdom for all. Adventurers are often accepted as long as they are not evil or on Ganon’s side.

Monsters & Villains

Yiga Clan: A tribe of footsoldiers and blademasters that steal information and supplies from the Gerudo. Bokoblin: This common species is a nuisance all over Hyrule. Some have unified in the time following the Great Calamity and have formed factions of bandits. Chuchu: This low-level, gel-based monster can be found all over Hyrule. It tends to spring its attacks on unsuspecting prey from the ground or from trees. Wizzrobes: These spell-casting monsters can be found all over Hyrule. Their robe color signifies what element they are and they’ll cast magic orbs with their rods to attack. Moblin: This heavyweight species of monster can be found all over Hyrule. They're physically very strong, their legs alone strong enough to resist the force of a bomb blast. Lizalfos: These quick-witted, lizard-like monsters can be found all over Hyrule. They're a sly species that lurks underwater or uses camouflage to blend in with the environment to launch ambushes. Moreover, they never sleep. Lynel: These fearsome monsters have lived in Hyrule since ancient times. They possess intense intelligence, resilience, and strength, making them the among the most dangerous monsters in all the land. This is compounded by the fact that they have a natural resistance to all elements.
