Colors

In a world that is exactly like our modern day, but there is one difference. Before birth, everyone's soul is transported to a void in which they meet God. God then asks them to pick their favorite color. As he asks this, 10 floating blocks of color fall behind him. "Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Grey, White, and Black" Each of these colors will give you a different ability.

Same nations and lands as modern day earth, however, due to strange anomalies, there are islands that float in the sky that are known only as "skylands"

All humans, with different ethnicity's and all.

Greys, Oranges, Purples, and Pinks are discriminated against heavily and are deeply feared by most other people, which causes those with those colors to revolt and fight against everyone else. Most gangs and even terrorist groups are mostly inhabited by those with those colors due to the discrimination.

Based on the color you selected before birth, you get different abilities. Here are what each color grants you. Red: Energy storage. Basically, you're born with so much energy in your body that is cycles through you at rapid speeds. This allows you to have enhanced stats for your entire body! This means heightened Strength, speed, agility, stamina, endurance, etc. This does not make you smarter though. Orange: Fire creation and manipulation. Your skin is also naturally very hot. So much so that if you were to touch someone with your bare skin for longer than 4.5 seconds, they would surely burn alive. This is what is known as "The Death Touch" Yellow: Lightning summoning/manipulation and Super speed! Your super speed has different levels to it. Theres life speed, which is running as slow as 1mph to almost as fast as sound. Theres Sonic speed which is running as fast as sound, theres Hyper speed which is as fast as light, and lastly Godspeed which is almost as fast as time flows. Green: Telekinesis, Telepathy, Mind control, Swapping places with things, Levitation, Force field creation, Teleportation, extremely advanced IQ. Immune to a Whites illusions. Blue: Water creation. Liquid manipulation. Ice manipulation. (Note, you can only create ice ontop of water, you cannot create ice out of thin air.) You are immunine to an Oranges "Death Touch" Purple: Energy emission. Same deal for reds, you are born with a lot of energy in your body, but instead of storing it, you can use it to create large purple blasts out of your hands. You can fly and create "Energy bubbles" and when something is trapped in it, they cannot move whatevers in it until you pop the bubble or it pops itself. You also have built in counters for most other colors. For oranges, you are immune to their death touch. For yellows you can move in sonic speed with them, but not as fast. For greens, your mind cannot be read or controlled. For blues, you can breathe underwater. For pinks, you can resurrect yourself but only once. For whites, you can see through their illusions. Pink: Energy Combustion. Same deal for reds and purples. You are born with a lot of energy in your body, but only in your hands and feet. This allows you to attack someone spiritually which attacks your soul directly. It hurts far worse than a physical hit so much so that if they were to attack you with more than 2 fingers, you'd most likely die. White: Illusions that can affect all 5 senses. You also have a dagger that you can call and summon, or throw and teleport to it. Grey: Matter manipulation. You can manipulate all forms of matter so as long as you're touching it or nearby it. This does not include living beings. This includes humans, animals, and plants. Unless the plant is dead. Black: Dark Angel. You have large black wings and a large black halo. You can create any melee weapon and a set of bow and arrows. You can also change the scale/size of the weapons you create. You can turn into at least 50 - 500 of any flying animal that resonates with you. All of which are black. You can breathe in space.Yes you can use your wings on your back to fly. In this word, there are these things know as "Angel Scrolls" Angel Scrolls are scrolls that have a set of instructions on how to activate them. Upon activation, you will be given an ability. Most angel scrolls are activated by simply opening, reading, or touching it after you open it. Each angel scroll follows a specific naming pattern. Every angel scroll is named like this: "[Blank] and [Blank]" Basically two synonymous words that blankly describe the effect of what the scroll does. Heres a few examples. "Scroll of Checks and Balances: This scroll is activated once you read it, and it allows you to steal the Color(abilites) from the next person they touch." "Scroll of Obsession and Devotion: This scroll is activated once you read it, and it allows you to see your soulmate and instantly fall in love with them." "Scroll of Seeing and Knowing: This scroll is activated once you open it, and it allows you to see everything thats ever happened, thats currently happening, and will happen. You will constantly see all of these thing infinitely."

In this world, there are 4 different planes. The mortal plane, where the story takes place in. Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory. Angels reside in Heaven which is invisible to the human soul, which allows angels to guardian humans, watching over them secretly

There are water tubes throughout major cities to allow blues to travel easier, sky laws for Purples and Blacks who prefer to fly through the sky for transport, and specific road lanes for yellows to run alongside cars.

In this world, Superheroes are recognized as real law enforcement. While police still exist, those who wish to use their abilities to capture criminals and save lives can by working with the S.H.I. (Super Hero Initiative). There are many colleges and academy's for those who wish to harness their abilities for the better as well. In this world, it is illegal for Oranges to not wear gloves. It is illegal for a pink to touch someone with more than 2 fingers. It is illegal for a Black to enter space.
