Magic & Religion

The Core Concept: Spirit Power Every living being in Douluo Dalu possesses a Spirit — a manifestation of their soul’s essence, born from nature, beasts, or divine forces. When awakened, a person’s Spirit determines their path: Combat, Healing, Control, or Support. Through battle and ritual, individuals absorb Spirit Rings from defeated Spirit Beasts, gaining new abilities and evolution. Mechanical Hook for D&D Replace classes with Spirit Paths (see below). Spirit Rings function like Feats or Magical Traits gained through trials or defeating Spirit Beasts. Spirit Power replaces Spellcasting — still powered by slots or long rests, but flavored as Soul Energy.
