El Nido Archipelago is a lush, engineered paradise where tropical islands hide a vast, time‑controlled terrarium ruled by the sentient supercomputer FATE, guiding humanity’s destiny through the Records of Fate while the shattered Dragon God’s elemental shards whisper ancient power. In this living laboratory of destiny, vibrant villages, towering citadels, and hidden dragon‑isles clash with the relentless march of time, forcing every race to choose between the comforting illusion of fate and the perilous freedom of choice.

World Overview

The El Nido Archipelago is a scattered chain of tropical islands in the Sea of Eden, existing at the fringes of recorded history. Though idyllic on the surface—lush jungles, coral beaches, and gentle seas—El Nido is an artificial world, carefully engineered and subtly controlled by forces far older and more advanced than its inhabitants realize. For centuries, El Nido developed in isolation, its people living simple lives shaped by oral tradition, superstition, and the rhythms of nature. Beneath this peaceful exterior lies a world shaped by experimentation, temporal manipulation, and a buried apocalypse. El Nido was established after the fall of the ancient Kingdom of Zeal, when survivors—under the influence of the Frozen Flame, a fragment of Lavos—founded the archipelago as a controlled human civilization. The supercomputer FATE, housed in Chronopolis, was created to monitor humanity. El Nido’s population was guided through Records of Fate, ensuring history unfolded according to FATE’s design. The Dragon God, an ancient planetary consciousness, was shattered into six elemental Dragons by FATE to prevent it from reclaiming the world. As a result, El Nido is less a natural civilization and more a terrarium of human destiny, watched and shaped from the shadows.

Geography & Nations

Arni Village: Arni is a peaceful town off the coast of the main island of El Nido. Probably established before the settlement of El Nido by colonists in 920 A.D., it was constructed to allow easy access to the sea; its inhabitants lived off the fishing industry. Its small community paid respects to a village elder who counseled his people and allowed access to a Record of Fate from within his hut; surrounding it were grass fields that allowed special firesides and seminars, sometimes dealing with the usage of Elements. The main area of the village was the commons; residential and commercial huts surrounded the area, in addition to palm trees and beautiful greenery. An Elements shop was set up in the commons, and villagers often met each other there. The houses were modestly made huts with spacious interiors and ornate woodwork. Many windows allowed the huts to blend in with the surrounding environment, and also allowed expansive views of the ocean to the huts' inhabitants. One such dwelling was built over water, allowing quick and easy access to a boat. The main gateway to the sea was a pier constructed at the far end of the village; some fished off the end, like the Old Fisherman. A restaurant also existed in the village, headed up by Chef Belcha, and the famous inventor of Heckran bone soup. Termina: Termina is the crowning city of El Nido, constructed on the northeastern corner of the isle after the settlement of the islands by colonists from mainland Zenan. To villagers in Arni, it was considered an affluent, gleaming city. A stark contrast to the wooden, natural town of Guldove, it was sculpted out of white stone and concrete in a terraced slope approaching the sea. At the base of the sea, where the superstructure met the water, several docks allowed quick access to the sea, while provisions were made above for many types of commercial shops and residential housing. Termina was also constructed to allow a stream descending from mountains to allow intracity travel and add to the stunning scenery of the sea; one could see the shore and visions of sun and sand from nearly anywhere in the establishment. At the head of the tallest echelon, with back to the sea, stood a statue of Lord Viper, a fair but militant lord of El Nido. Under the leadership and protection of the Acacia Dragoons, the town flourished for one hundred years. Notable residents included Van,a young fourteen year old boy with dreams of wanting something more and his father Gogh, a painter with exuberant wealth who own a luxorious mansion deep in the back of Termina's rich district, Zappa and his wife Zippa, a middle aged couple who own a blacksmith near Gogh's mansion and smith weapons for both residents and the Acacia Dragoons, Lisa, a young woman who runs an element shop in town with her elderly father living in the back, the famous Magical Dreamers musical act of Nikki (a glam rocker type with a deep, sad soul) and his partner Miki (a stunning, gorgeous young woman that regularly gets bored) and the local Barkeep famous for its squid-gut pasta and all sorts of colorful residents. Fort Draconia: Fort Dragonia is an ancient fort constructed by the Dragonians. Intended for defense and rituals, it was constructed on a flat stone plain only accessible through Mount Pyre. From this huge floor, it rose several stories; the inside allowed access to four different puzzles that had to be completed to access the crowning room. The puzzles included setting a stone statue to face a certain direction, rotating two huge beams, sequencing three people in a certain order, and navigating a confusing maze. Once completed, an elevator to the basement and upper floor would emerge in the central area. The Dragonians did not have to complete the puzzles each time they wished to access the ritual room, as placing the Dragon Tear at the plaque in the front of the building would automatically unlock the elevator. In the basement, incubation pods existed to facilitate the hatching of Dragon eggs. The upper floor consisted of a room with circular paths whose center contained a teleportation device. When accessed, it propelled the user high above the Fort to reach a small, floating structure which housed the Dragonian ceremonies. Inside existed six statues of the Dragons, and at the center, a pedestal on which the Dragon Tear was to be placed. This room allowed the use of the artifact to switch bodies; the puzzles would have to be activated first to supply power to the ritual area, though as stated above, the Dragon Tear could unlock the power by simply being placed in a stone slot at the entrance. The room also contained a mural depicting the history of the world as artistically represented by Dragonians. Mount Pyre: Mount Pyre is a volcanic region on the southeastern corner of the main El Nido island. Composed of permanent lava flows, it poses a threat to travelers and stands in the way of reaching Fort Dragonia, rendering it inaccessible by any other means. Firey beasts thrive around the lava, which must be crossed by a path winding through caves and flows. Chronopolis selected it as home of the Fire Dragon. Cape Howl: Cape Howl stems from the main El Nido island, jutting out to the sea and containing a few small geysers closer inland. Its natural tranquility has made it a popular place to bury loved ones. Divine Dragon Falls: Divine Dragon Falls is the name given to a waterfall on the southern end of the main El Nido island. A Power Spot, it allowed the Dragonians to tap into the planet's energy and forge Elements. It was also the site of many rituals undertaken in planetary celebration by the Dragonians, Demi-humans, and El Nido natives (probably from Guldove). A pedestal was also placed in the back end of its cavern, though its purpose would not be revealed to the Dragonians before their extinction. After mainlanders from Zenan settled El Nido in 920 A.D., the Dragonians became extinct and the rituals and festivals fell out of practice (though the latter process took considerably more time to complete). After 1010 A.D., the Explorer Corps dispatched adventurers there to learn more about the era; they successfully deduced that Dragonians forged Elements there, though they could not discern what the pedestals in the back were for. Guldove: Guldove is probably the oldest human settlement in El Nido, having been established long before the Dragonians became extinct. The people of Guldove created many traditions and legends during their long history, preserving the lore concerning the Dragon God and conversing with the Dragonian counterparts often. The town itself seemed to exist closely with nature; it was constructed off a rock formation that had emerged above the ocean. The people of Guldove used wood and cloth to construct a basic foundation; afterwards, they erected giant cone-shaped towers out of the same materials. Most of these towers utilized two levels; the lower area emptied to the basic foundation of the town, while a second set of walkways was created to allow access between second storeys. In addition to residential towers, the people of Guldove established an eatery and Elements shop, and encouraged trade on their docks. The cloths of Guldove were stitched with ornate, decorative patterns. Their most important structure, however, was the tribal office, occupying its own tent and housing the high priest or priestess of the establishment, who served as village leader. Within, the Dragon Tear (a gift from the Dragonians) was kept, and the elder of the town gave counsel to those seeking advice or information. The tent was guarded by a man who screened visitors to the shaman. After El Nido was colonized by settlers from the Zenan mainland, this tent proved vital in safeguarding much of the lore surrounding El Nido. By 1010 A.D., Chief Direa and later, her assistant Steena served as the regulators of the town. The village also distinctly featured a clan of relatives (Macha, the matriarch and single mother to her son, Korcha a rebeliious youth who rents out a boat to Termina and other places for a price, and Mel, her adopted daughter who yearns to be treated like an adult); a sort of Guldovian accent was proliferated by this family's members. Serving the establishment as well was a doctor, lovingly nicknamed 'Doc' and his assistant. Viper Manor: Viper Manor is the home of the Acacia Dragoons and the central base of operations for the protection and officiation of El Nido. Constructed in 920 A.D. by the Viper Clan, it was made in an antique, ornate style, and was sturdily built out of stone. Specifically, the structure was erected overlooking a cliff, the Viper Manor Bluffs; this afforded it a scenic view of the sea. The manor also lay in close proximity to Termina, the chief protectorate of the Dragons. Its sewer system conveniently had access to a freshwater stream and the ocean, and was built to link with Shadow Forest. Along with the sewer, a prison was constructed, featuring a few cells and a torture and interrogation chamber. The outside featured a lengthy wall and gate to ward off intruders; the courtyards inside were decorated with stone walkways and much greenery. Stables containing Dragons were also maintained on the outside, as was a watchtower activated at night to search for raiders. A guard of Acacia Dragoons was posted at the gates daily and across the courtyard each night; two combatants also stood near the front entrance of the mansion. Inside, curvy and detailed architecture was sculpted from marmoreal stone; the walls had a slightly beige hue, lending an aura of warmness to the environs. The seal of the Acacia Dragoons was emblazoned upon the main foyer's floor. From that focal point, two hallways extended out in the left and right directions. These hallways contained parlors built to house the Four Devas of the Dragoons; they were outfitted with expensive furniture and large, exquisite beds. At the end of either hallway were staircases leading to a basement complex that mirrored the floorplan above it, consisting of two hallways with a central lobby area. This lower area served many functions for the Dragoons. One room served as a research laboratory, though it may not have always been intended for this purpose. The main treasury and armory existed on this floor also; the treasure room consisted of several antique and pricey items, along with gold and other precious metals. The armory sported several weapons of war arranged on a wooden apparatus for holding them; the room was decorated with five suits of armor. The creators also added a special back room for the Viper's Venom, a fierce weapon used by the Viper Clan. Aside from these rooms, the basement housed the mess hall and barracks, which comfortably accommodated many Acacia Dragoons. The most interest aspect of the lower area was the center lobby; it consisted of metal bars to be used as a jail. On the first floor, a special Dragon statue was erected to be twisted in a certain pattern to allow access to the rest of the manor; if the combination failed, the ones attempting to gain access would plummet to the circular prison below. If the combination worked, access to the main hall of Viper Manor would be granted. This hall was used for formal ceremonies and events, such as the gathering of troops before an expedition; it was supported by eight pillars, and at the head of the room sat the throne of the Viper Clan. Near the entrace of the main hall, two doors on the left and right allowed passage to the two towers of Viper Manor. One led to the study and library, which was constructed to have two floors and a central table for meetings. The creators carved this large table out of wood, etched the Viper emblem in the center, and employed candles to provide artificial light. The library was then outfitted with countless tomes of knowledge and history; at the very top stood a stained glass window depicting a woman. Interestingly, a secret passage was also hollowed out in the library; this later housed the Neo Epoch after Belthasar came to Viper Manor. The right walkway led to a special vault used to hold precious and meaningful treasures; the Memento Pendant was later interred here. Though this appeared to be the extent of Viper Manor's construction, the creators actually made the throne capable of rising up and down along the back wall. In the raised position, it granted access to the most secretive rooms in the mansion -- two parlors and the balcony of Viper Manor. One of the parlors was outfitted as the ruling Viper's office, and contained a bust of a famous person's head as well as a secret conference room in the back. The other parlor was probably intended as sleeping quarters for the family of the ruling Viper. The balcony contained its own small fountain system, which pumped water around the veneer. At night, the balcony would be lit up by green, ambient lights; this lended a romantic and serene effect to the platform. At the very top of the manor stood a small platform, built along a third of the balcony. Shadow Forest: Shadow Forest is a wooded area to the east of Viper Manor. It is adorned with arboreal glades and a few ponds connected by a running stream. Viper Manor draws water in its well from Shadow Forest, and also connects its sewage system with the river. Many unique creatures dwell in the forest, both friendly and deadly. Mushrooms grow in abundance here and many from Termina find themselves risking life and limb to find the rarest ones. Hydra Marshes: The Hydra Marshes are a system of swamps and floral growth on the southeastern portion of the main El Nido island. The marshes have a unique ecosystem, as the Hydra who live there regulate the water's freshness, possibly by secreting chemicals or by other means. Many insects and reptilian creatures evolved in the swamp, thriving off its resources. Some lived high over it, as huge trees sported branches that extended to the sky, allowing even Human sized organisms to scamper up their lengths. The swamp also played host to the Dwarves, who fiercely guarded the Hydra and viewed the marshes as sacred and a vital life force of the planet. Unfortunately, explorers from the Zenan mainland found that Hydra Humour works as a panacea for all kinds of diseases; they soon after began poaching the Hydra for the humour. This was lamented by the dwarves, who continued unsuccessfully to guard the numerous Hydra from falling victim to humanity. Their fight was a losing battle, however, and the marshes have most become toxic due to almost extinction of the Hydra creatures. Fossil Valley: Fossil Valley is a natural formation on the main island of El Nido. It was probably given its name by settlers from mainland Zenan, who observed the skeleton of a large Dragon on a cliff in the area. The valley hosts several wild animals, including some birds who nest on outcroppings. The area is mostly used as the easiest way to get from southern El Nido to northern and vice versa. Because of this, members of the Acacia Dragoons regularly guard entrances and exits to make sure the passage remains safe. Gaea's Navel: Gaea's Navel is an island in the sea of El Nido untouched by human influence since prehistoric times. Its disconnection from the other large continents of the world allowed it to retain creatures that otherwise were extinct. Its modern history began with Chronopolis; when the time fortress divided up the Dragon God, it placed the Green Dragon to reign there. Additionally, another species on the main El Nido island discovered a way to access the isle, whose sheer cliffs made entrance by sea impossible. The Beeba (a human sized yellow goblin creature with simple speech yet fiercely protective of its land and lore) learned that they could call forth Wingapede monsters (towering giant dragonflies) using a Beeba Flute and tame them with Ancient Fruit; they could then ride the Wingapede to Gaea's Navel. They afterwards made frequent trips, soaking up life at the Hydra Marshes and abroad. The Green Dragon meanwhile fell asleep, shielding itself away from external influence. Lizard Rock: Lizard Rock is a rocky area that separates Opassa Beach from the rest of the main El Nido island. Water ran through it in several spots, and palm trees adorned the rough landscape. Populated by Komodos, it became a popular hunting ground in Home World around 1020 A.D.; some residents from Arni would take them as pets, while others would try to nab a scale off them. Komodo Dragon Scales are prismatic and thus popular with the younger generation in Arni to make necklaces and other jewelry. Opassa Beach: Opassa Beach is an enigmatic coastline found on the southwest corner of the El Nido island. A scenic and beautiful stretch of sand, it was often visited by residents of Arni, however due to many people having gone missing who do visit, it seldom sees many these days. Rumors of what happens spread throughout Arni, but some say that the beach has a magical quality to it that it leads you to an alternate dimension of El Nido; similar yet different. But no one can say for certain. Marbule: Marbule is the island created by Chronopolis to house the Black Dragon. Once Humans and Dragonians populated El Nido, the resulting Demi-humans settled there and created a town out of the caves and outcroppings. They created a unique culture there; a sage led the village, while others traded for rare Elements and practiced arcane medicine. The people of Marbule also probably worshipped the Black Dragon; in any event, it commanded great respect from them. The Demi-humans of Marbule had a good rapport with humanity until mainland settlers from Zenan arrived after 920 A.D. The resulting exodus on the mainland pushed Demi-humans out to the corners of El Nido, leaving them embittered and angry at their human aggressors. This caused a schism that would last roughly one hundred years. Around or before 1010 A.D., a sailor named Fargo fell in love with a mermaid named Zelbess. The resulting marriage and union sparked hope of renewed dealings between the two peoples. Unfortunately, around 1011 A.D., Fargo had a falling out with Lord Viper and fled from him; Zelbess died in the process. Fargo became a pirate, while the Demi-humans of Marbule continued to harbor a grudge against humans. Though humans could enter the village, they would be verbally assaulted and shunned. Isle of the Damned: The Isle of the Damned is the burialplace of Garai, the 13th Grandmaster of the Acacia Dragoons. When it was created by Chronopolis, it was peaceful and bright, like the island Hermit's Hideaway was built at; however, once Radius, an old, elderly former member of the 4 Devas, lay his dead friend there after accidentally killing him while consumed with the Masamune (an evil, corrupted sword cursed with millenia of corrupted kills), the island grew dark and corrupted. This was the result of Garai's emotions; undead beasts and bones soon proliferated throughout the isle, which took a dark hue and contaminated the water around it to black. It is rarely visited and many who do do not return. Hermit's Hideaway: Hermit's Hideaway is a small island in the northeast corner of El Nido. Constructed by Chronopolis with no real purpose, it was adapted for living by Radius of the Acacia Dragoons after he retired in both in 1016 A.D. Radius lived and meditated there for four years, having minimal contact with the main island. Many warriors travel here to seek Radius' wisdom. Earth Dragon Isle: The Earth Dragon Isle is a sandy, cavernous island created by FATE to house the Earth Dragon. Consisting of dunes and rocky outcroppings on the surface, below it housed caves and streams of pouring sand; these runlets reemerged in quick dashes called sand boils. Access to the lower area was allowed only through descending through a large curtain of quicksand that served as the cave's center ceiling. The lowermost chamber existed to a huge cavern where the Earth Dragon resided; it included a bulky outcropping above and opposite the entrance. Water Dragon Isle: Water Dragon Isle is a scenic and partially flooded island built by Chronopolis to house the Water Dragon. It featured several terraces on the surface, each supporting pools of water which flowed into one another and in to the main area, which was decorated with lilypads for movement. At the center of the island lay a staircase into a deep cave that led down to where the Water Dragon rested. Once it was created, a group of fairies came to live on the island, utilizing a magic tree in the center of the main grounds. They enjoyed a carefree, whimsical lifestyle there until Dwarves haven been driven out of the Hydra Marshes by humans attacked the fairies killing many and attempting to claim the land as their own. Some of the fairies fought back however reclaiming their land but losing their innocence in the process. The fairies are now weary of outsiders and have lost their innocent and naive spirits. Rosetta, a fairy with shoulder length purple hair in a cosmic blue dress is the respected leader of the fairy establishment on the island. Chronopolis: Chronopolis is the time research installation created by Belthasar in 2300 A.D. and responsible for the execution of Project Kid. It was founded after the Guru of Reason came in to the future from the Ocean Palace Incident and made the Time Research Lab. Belthasar sought funding from the Central Regime; he managed to convince them to establish the project under the guise of a military research facility. He then located the area in El Nido due to the strange gravitational field there (probably caused by the Frozen Flame). The Flame itself powered the new building, and was stationed in the basement where a huge, power-extracting and analyzing engine made several connections with it. To officiate and regulate the facility, a somewhat sentient supercomputer known as FATE was constructed out of existing futuristic circuitry; like the other systems, it drew power directly from the Frozen Flame. FATE was equipped with a huge repository of historical knowledge dating back to prehistory, allowing it unparalleled computing power. Above the ground level, which included a lobby, janitorial system, and admissions desk, four floors were constructed to house various experiments on physics and other fields of science, such as biology. To conduct these ventures, the scientists were given state of the art imaging tools and other apparatuses. For defense, automated robots were set to patrol the corridors, and a crew of fighter jets stood ready for air superiority. Lastly, the facility's location allowed it to be hidden from public view; this required due to the secrecy and importance of Chronopolis's work. Chronopolis erstwhile hid in the Sea of Eden by causing coral around the sea to become instantly fatal upon contact. It also employed a defense system allowing it to be submered under a huge, triangular column of water. Sea of Eden: The Sea of Eden is a subsection of the sea of El Nido were Chronopolis was constructed following 2300 A.D. It was selected for its strange gravitational properties. In addition to the island on which Chronopoils sat, three defense islands were constructed that, when activated, raised a triangular column of water above Chronopolis to protect and hide it. The sea of Eden was hugely affected by the Time Crash, which shifted the entire year ten thousand years into the past. It then became partly the site of a battle between Chronopolis and Dinopolis; after the former achieved victory, Chronopolis terraformed and populated El Nido with its former workers. The Sea of Eden was then sealed off at the Pearly Gates, and the coral encircling it was made to cause instant death to any who touched it. Legends promulgated that the original settlers of El Nido came from the Pearly Gates, and that the Dragon God had sealed up the Frozen Flame inside the area. This worked to Chronopolis's favor, as the city would be stealthed and completely unknown among outsiders. Pearly Gates: The Pearly Gates is an opening to the Sea of Eden from the rest of El Nido. When Chronopolis terraformed the the islands, it sealed the Pearly Gates to ensure no one would find the time research station; legend soon passed down that the Dragon God had sealed the Frozen Flame up inside the sea and was the one responsible for hardening the pearly gates. Legend also correctly dictated that the first settlers of El Nido passed through the pearly gates before it was sealed. Strange statues are carved into the wall, which terminates midway through. Sky Dragon Isle: Sky Dragon Isle is an island sculpted on the ruins of Dinopolis to house the Sky Dragon. The architecture of the sunken Dinopolis allowed greenery and plant life to grow and seem suspended in the air; a huge staircase led to the top of the island where these huge arboreal growths occurred and where the Sky Dragon himself occasionally appears. El Nido Triangle: The El Nido Triangle is a mysterious patch of ocean located between three rocks known as "Triplet Isles" in southern El Nido. The mythical Dragon King Palace was rumored to be near the area. The legend regarding the El Nido Triangle was intensified after something from space crashed there; onlooking fishermen reported a mysterious beam of light and a proliferation of star-shaped stones. Further investigation revealed a layer of air beneath the sea that allowed exploration of the sea floor without any equipment. What caused this is unknown as many who now travel down into the breathable depths often don't come back up to report what they have found. S.S. Invincible: The S.S. Invincible is a formidable pirate ship commanded by Fargo in El Nido of Another World. Its origins are unclear, though it seems to have always been under the captainship of Fargo, who prided himself on the toughness of its crew and its swiftness on the ocean. Around 1011 A.D., a major falling out occurred between the Acacia Dragoons and Fargo's family; his wife Zelbess died as a result, and Fargo maintained a serious grudge against General Viper. He subsequently employed the S.S. Invincible in the role of a pirate ship, and even fostered a legend that it was a ghost ship, able to appear with the fog and strike without warning. He evaded capture for several years while keeping abreast of news from the mainland. He also kept a bird named Polly that perched on the crow's nest of the ship. During 1020 A.D., the ship suffered an attack from a real Ghost Ship, nearly killing a few crew members. Fargo and his crew eventually repelled the invasion. Viper Manor Bluffs: The Viper Manor Bluffs compose the cliff on which the back end of Viper Manor rests; they can be climbed by hand, though many dangers exist to potential invaders. Dragon King Palace: Dragon King Palace is a mythical place rumored to exist among fishermen. The legend goes that if one catches a fish from the palace, good luck and fortune will pour into the person's life. While it may sound like an old superstition, there is possibly some merit in the existence of such a place. It was stated in Guldove that the Dragonians built other ruins similar to Fort Dragonia, but as of 1020 A.D., the aforementioned fort was the only one to still stand. This somewhat raises the possibility of the Dragon King Palace legend stemming from an actual Dragonian fort built around the El Nido Triangle.

Races & Cultures

Humans: The human population of El Nido descends from survivors of the Kingdom of Zeal, resettled under the influence of the Frozen Flame and carefully managed by FATE. Unlike mainland civilizations, El Nido humans were subtly conditioned to follow predetermined paths through the Records of Fate. Village-based communities focused on fishing, trade, and agriculture Strong reliance on tradition, festivals, and oral storytelling. Limited technological innovation, stagnated intentionally by FATE. Deep but unconscious obedience to “destiny” and routine. Humans believe in Elemental balance, Local spirits, guardians, Fate as an immutable force and Few suspect their choices were never entirely their own. Demihumans: Demi-humans are believed to be either an ancient offshoot of humanity, or a species influenced differently by the Frozen Flame. Their true origins remain deliberately obscured by history. They have animalistic traits like fur, tails, claws and enhanced senses but all are unique to themselves and no demihuman is the same as the next. They live longer than humans and have a more natural affinity to elements. They have a deep spiritual connection to nature and elements with oral histories emphasizing harmony over conquest. They face persecution and exile from humans and have been largely regulated to Marbule with some populating with humans on Guldove. Dragonians: The Dragonians were an advanced reptilian civilization that predated humanity in El Nido. Masters of bio-mechanical fusion, they rivaled Lavos in influence and nearly inherited the planet. They viewed the planet as a living entity and valued balance, worthiness, and evolution. They often tested individuals rather than ruling them. Their architecture was organic, shifting structures with temples that responded to elemental alignment. However, regardless, their kingdom fell when they were defeated by Chronopolis and FATE and their culture collapsed. Fairies: Fairies are natural manifestations of the planet’s will—born from forests, springs, and Elemental convergence. They have Loose communal bonds rather than hierarchy and value emotion, instinct, and sensation. Time holds little meaning to them and they view humans as children playing with dangerous tools. They distrust FATE and technology instinctively.

Current Conflicts

Across all races, El Nido wrestles with: Survival vs. Harmony Progress vs. Memory Inheritance vs. Choice Each culture reflects a different answer to the same question: Who deserves to inherit the future of the world?

Magic & Religion

Magic in El Nido is governed by the Element Grid, with six primary Elements: 🔴 Red (Fire, Passion) 🔵 Blue (Water, Memory) 🟢 Green (Nature, Growth) 🟡 Yellow (Earth, Stability) ⚫ Black (Darkness, Mystery) ⚪ White (Light, Balance) Elements are both a natural force and a technological system—another example of how El Nido blurs the line between magic and science. Elements can be bought from traders all across El Nido to use in battles like swords and armor alike.

Spindle is more of an interactive reading experience than a traditional game. There are no scores to chase or levels to grind. The focus is on story, character, and the choices you make. Think of it as a novel where you're the protagonist—the pleasure is in the narrative, not the mechanics.

Can I read with friends?

Yes! You can invite friends into the same story. Each person plays their own character, and the narrative weaves everyone's choices together. It's like a book club where you're all inside the book at the same time—perfect for friends who love the same kinds of stories.
