Amidst this glittering age of innovation, war‑corrupted tieflings, wandering tabaxi, and ancient dragonborn navigate a fragile peace, while a clandestine cult schemes to unleash the fiends once more.

World Overview

In the aftermath of a great war with forces beyond, fiends, the races of Elmara have rebuilt. It's been 80 years since the war and finally the four nations on the grand continent of Calra have reached a new age. Technology fueled by magic has blossomed, creating the rise of airships and arcane trains. People have found new ways to use magic in their daily lives. Schools now teach the young adults the arts of the arcane, the trades of construction and architecture, the tactics of war, and the ins and outs of agriculture. Each nations academy specializes in one of the above. However, with all this growth and knowledge, the threat of another war looms great, though perhaps this time between the kingdoms. Tensions are rising if only in the background of every day life.

Geography & Nations

The continent of Calra is home to four nations. Oria is a colder nation to the north specializing in the Arcane. It's southern borders are the Boral mountains that decided them from the other three nations. Egophia is the central nation, finding it's home among the plains and specializing in agriculture. To its east along the template coasts and Forested foothills is Aprium. This country specializes in military tactics. To the south is the final nation of Coloria, a tropical nation that specializes in agriculture and traide while inhabiting the warm southern coasts and archipelagos.

Races & Cultures

Humans are the most dominant race and are often members of all casts and trades. Tieflings are a remnant of the war and the corruption of the fiends, often looked down upon. Tabaxi and half tabaxi are common as well though are immigrants from the east who came during the war to trade and assist before the war could reach their coasts. Dwarfs hide among the mountains in small underground settlements where they mine and craft. Dragonborn are ancient inhabitants of this land and have connections in the religions and magics.

Current Conflicts

Tensions ar brewing as Egophia seems poised to try to ignite conflict over their right to rule the entire continent for themselves and take it's resources, though they are mostly doing it quietly for now. A cult works in the background of society to bring back the fiends and ignite a second arcane revolution.

Magic & Religion

Magic is available to all. Some study it to learn, others are born with it or have connections with higher beings that allow them to use it. Magic is very common and often used by anyone, some are stronger than others though.

Historical Ages

The common age came before the current age of the arcane and saw magic as only a tool for war. It ended when the fiend war occurred.
