In Elynthian, a techno-arcane continent mirroring a reimagined United States, solar-punk elven kingdoms, merchant republics of sky-whaling mages, and lizardfolk jungle clans wield magic as common as breath—yet all vie for the Artificers’ reality-warping inventions forged within the desert Tower. Beyond the Emerald Ring, exiled High Elves guard primordial secrets while ancient rivalries smolder beneath a fragile peace, waiting for heroes—or tyrants—to ignite the next age of wonders.

World Overview

High Magic world with a wide variety of Techno Arcana

Geography & Nations

Elynthian is a high fantasy version of the United States with a few differences. The Evergreen Kingdom is in the Northwest Rainforests, and has solar-punk elements throughout. The East is the Seraphel Republic, a merchant republic that revolves around merchantilism and has numerous magic academies. In the Southwest is the Drake Jungle. In the central north is two mountain ranges known as the Dragon's Maw, which converge in the Southern portion where a river runs althea way from the north to the south, cutting through the central plains and all the way to the southern Sea. West of the river is a desert and at its center lies the Tower of Artificers, where Artificers go to hone their craft. West of the desert lies a massive and circular mountain range known as The Emerald Ring, which blocks the western wind and creates the desert East of it.

Races & Cultures

Humans are far spread throughout the continent. Most High Elves are in a self imposed exile inside of the dense forest inside of The Ring, but can be seen everywhere albeit rarely. Wood Elves are mostly in the Northwestern rain forests but can be found throughout the land. In the south eastern Jungle lies the Lizardfolk. All other Dungeons and Dragons Races are common throughout the continent, but are much more common in the West as the former Seraphel Empire was highly aggressive towards most other races.

Current Conflicts

There aren't any currently known political tensions although the Evergreen Kingdom and Seraphel Empire held a longstanding rivalry until the Empire dissolved and became a Merchant Republic. There are always people looking to further their own aims however.

Magic & Religion

Anyone can use magic through training, bloodlines, divine blessings, or magical contracts.
