A thousand years from now, the star-spanning empire of the divine tyrant Devi rules from the 40-kilometer warship Heosphoros, crushing rebels while an unseen alien menace looms beyond the solar system. In this shattered future, the last hope for humanity lies with the biomodified Godslayers—outnumbered outlaws born to murder gods and shatter fate itself.

World Overview

Set 1000 years in the future in a world full of technology and strife. Spacecraft are common with varying levels of size. Very violent. Cities are large and also of varying levels of technology.

Geography & Nations

Takes place in space and within the solar system of earth. Earth holds mostly impoverished or diplomats. Mars is mostly mining cities. Many abandoned planets from remnants of a golden age.

Races & Cultures

Gods (each with varying levels of powers such as blood manipulation, telekinesis, dark matter control, fortitude, and more). Godslayers are humans slightly modified to the extremes with biomodifications and intending to fight gods. Humans are the majority but also insanely weak compared to the warring factions.

Current Conflicts

Currently, Gods and Godslayers are at war (with godslayers being the rebellion in the minority and gods being the majority/ruling the solar system plus several nearby ones). The heosphoros is a 40 kilometer long ship the gods use to control the system with the main God Devi being the ruler.

Magic & Religion

Magic is belonging to the gods, but it is directly connected to mental fortitude and connection with the subject along with born connection to it. For example if one is familiar with blood then their control over blood (if that is their ability) will be rather strong and can control larger amounts of it compared to one who is unfamiliar with blood.

Planar Influences

There are some hidden planar influences in a metaphysical realm, such as fate and other intervening powers, but none prevalent in the story.

Historical Ages

based upon modern day humanity, a golden age was soon achieved with AI reaching extreme potentials and causing humanity to expand to the stars. This age reached its pinnacle when creating the heosphoros, which returned and ended the golden age, creating a militarized regime under the strict authority of the gods.

Economy & Trade

the economy is built off of mining labor and overall outsourced to mars and some other planets.

Law & Society

Some gods are extremely corrupt but justice is administered through individual human governments (with godly oversight).

Monsters & Villains

There is an outside threat of alien invasion, but it is unknown to the populations of humans or even godslayers, with only gods knowing of its existence. To humans, Gods are the evil ones.
