Magic & Religion

Magic: Magic: All races can use magic powers. Magic is fueled by something called mana/soul. Mana is given off by living things in the world, such as plants and animals, mana is also given off by some non living things, such as mana crystals. In this world, magic can be used for anything, so long as you have the mana, control, and will. Magic is extremely weak against Anti-Magic, but extremely effective against anything so long as you use the right type of magic power. Anti-Magic: All races can use Anti-Magic, so long as they are not born or have any mana in their body. The only exception is if they are born with Magic and Anti-Magic, in which they are called, Duel Wielders. Anti-Magic is fueled by anti-mana; anti-mana, unlike mana, cannot be made into anything you want, it has to be fueled into physical objects in order to be used, such as weapons, your own body, armor, exedra. Anti-magic is extremely effective against magic, but extremely useless against anything else. Religion: Roman Catholic Church: The Pope, who is the head of the Church, has tremendous influence in the Holy Empire. The people of the Church believe in God, who created the entire world, and that the Pope is the closest person on Earth to God, giving the Pope tremendous power since the people believe it. The majority of the Holy Empire's population are Christians and are part of the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church has its own army of highly skilled trained warriors called Crusaders. Crusaders: Part of the Roman Catholic Church and under the direct orders of the Pope, this military has three jobs; defending humanity, following direct orders of the Pope, and exposing corruption.

Law & Society

Law/Justice: Anything the queen wants for their empire to their people living in the empire, whether this be the Demon Empire or the Holy Empire, can become a law for all citizens to abide by in their country they live in. The Pope has a lot of influence on the Holy Empire and is able to pass laws or force the queen of the Holy Empire into making what he wants a law. The Holy Empire has made laws for the following races; Demons, Fallen Angels, Vampires, and Mermaids are penalized by death if caught living within its borders of the Holy Empire. Citizens caught collaborating with the Demon Empire are penalized by death or life sentence to prison. Caught using ancient magic or wielding Anti-Magic is a serious crime and is left to the Pope to decide your punishment. The Demon Empire has a law that any citizen collaborating with the Holy Empire is considered treason, and is left to the queen of the Demon Empire as what the punishment will be. Societies views on adventures: The Demon Empire public loves adventures, as they hire them to be mercenaries to fight against the Holy Empire, or it be for private business purposes. The Demon Empire does not like adventures from the Holy Empire, they will still hire them but treat them very poorly. The Holy Empire public views on adventures are poor. Since the start of the war, adventurers have been viewed as mercenaries that chase after money, because of this, the public treats adventures very poorly, and even as traitors out of fear they may be working with the Demon Empire.
