In Kamideus, the continent of Jarlheim teems with elves, dwarves, and humans wielding arcane-enhanced technology, while the distant land of Dracona cradles dragons in sky‑borne citadels; across the seas, the abyssal Shin'en archipelago, seismic Iwakoku, fiery Honole, breezy Kazetochi, and the floating Amatsuden kingdom of the Voltaic Yoso each host their own legendary Yoso clans, forging a tapestry of elemental power and mystic intrigue. Adventurers who traverse these realms will find themselves drawn into a clash of ancient magic, towering dragonflight, and the relentless pursuit of dominion over the very forces that shape the world itself.

World Overview

Very high levels if magic, Fantasy-medieval levels of technology some arcanely enhanced. Dragons are able to transfer their consciousness by focusing their life essence and magic into a single point to create a gem-like stone called a Drakorum. Dragons are still able to communicate while inside a drakorum but this transfer process is permanent and dragons are unable to transfer back into their bodies, therefore losing all control over how their power is used. The strength and abilities of a drakorum is dependent on the dragon that it is from and can be used for many things from gaining magical power and abilities to extending life. If a dragon is willing and has a strong enough connection with the other being and are compatible, dragons can also sacrifice themselves to give their magical and physical strength and abilities and life essence to someone else, unlike with a drakorum a dragons consciousness is not transferred and effectively kills the dragon.

Geography & Nations

The continent of Jarlheim which is inhabited by the elves, dwarves and humans. Wide open plains, vast mountains and deep forests make Jarlhiem have one of the most diverse environments in the realm as well as the largest continent. The continent of Dracona which is the home continent of the dragons. A sprawling mountain range stretching down the north eastern coast leading to a massive volcano which houses the capitol Zarkhul at its base. The archipelago of Shin'en which is the home of Abyssal Yoso. Filled with dense tropical forest and surrounded by extremely violent seas, but once within Shin'ens waters known as the Nautica Sea, it is said the sea has an almost endearing calmness. The continent of Iwakoku which is the home of Seismic Yoso. Rolling hills, towering mountains in the east, and frozen wastelands to the south can be found here. The continent of Honole which is the home of the Ignis Yoso. With barren deserts to the south and lush hidden valleys to the north, Honole has one of the most diverse environments in the realm. The Island of Kazetochi which is the home of the Ventis Yoso. Mountains that rise well past the clouds make up the majority of the island with entire villages being built upon the peaks, even connecting across mountain tops. The hidden floating kingdom on Amatsuden which is the home of the Voltaic Yoso. A floating landmass carrying the home of the Voltaic Yoso, large enough to have its own lakes, forest, and small mountains. Elusive and thought by many to be legend outside of a select few due to Amatsudens constant movement, the very existance of Amatsuden is known by even less.

Moon Elves- Living in the eastern part of the Lumethalion Forest lead by their King and in a temporary truce with the Sun Elves die to rising tensions with the dwarves and humans. Vival Elves- Living throughout Jarlheim and they do their best to stay removed from conflicts in attempts to maintain true neutrality. Mountain Dwarves- Living in the mountain ranges that span from the north of Jarlheim all the way to the far east. Hill Dwarves- Living in the planes of north east Jarlheim. Iron Forged Dwarves- Living in the northern mountains in Jarlheim and are the spear head for the dwarves in the conflict with the humans and elves for control for Jarlheim. Humans- Taking refuge in the eternal autimn leaves of the Sylvae Forest in the west of Jarlheim. Abyssal Yoso- Living in intentional seclusion from the rest of the world, they live a very prosperous life among waves of the southern isles of Shin’en. They can be described as having an extreme disliking towards the other races of Kamideus, viewing al others as lesser beings save for other harmonic yoso. The other races comparative disconnection from nature makes the people of Shin’en view themselves as the purest forms of natural life even among the other Harmonic’s. Due to the nature of the Abyssal Yoso, they are feared for their naval prowess, though nobody has seen this alleged military might for themselves. They are slightly taller than your average high yoso and slightly leaner, but that does not necessarily mean weaker. Water is an extension of their very being, with some even have been reported to be able to conjure water from thin air at will. High ranking Abyssal Yoso, known as Torrenti, are the only one of their people that are witnessed traversing the globe, almost exclusively for diplomatic reasons or trade. Thanks to their islands fortunate location in the world, they have little reason for outside trade other than to gain back door information from neighboring countries. In appearance they are relatively tall, standing at just under 9ft in height to around 12ft tall and rather slender. Their skin color can have many shades of teal and turquoise, reminiscent of the hues in opal and amazonite and lean but well-defined muscles ordained with stark blue harmonic markings with slight webbing between the fingers and toes, more so the toes, the fingers would not be noticeable without a second glance. Some have hair on the same color spectrum as their completion while others have various shades of white black and all greys in between, with eyes that can range from shades of blue, green and some pale shades of violet. They have very stern expressions and due to their appearance, could be easily mistaken for an exceptionally large merfolk if it were not for the body markings unique to the harmonic yoso. Ignis Yoso- Feared for their destructive capabilities and relative technological advancements but revered for their hospitality and rich culture which they are always eager to share with the world. They live in the country Honole, known for its diverse landscapes and are a tourist hotspot worldwide. Once a land of unrest and civil war due to the split between the populous people that preferred the people of Honole to live a more solitary life, not much unlike the other harmonic yoso, while many others believe cooperation with the other races is vital to finding true prosperity. This schism between the Ignis yoso nearly caused their own eradication even going as far as scaring their country. Now, many centuries removed the land of Honole is a bustling city filled with tourism and life, almost as if to attempt to overwrite their reputation as a land of short-tempered brutes and be remembered for their rich culture and for attempting to create a more coexistent country. Though they strive for a life free of conflict, the destructive prowess of a Ignis yoso is far from forgotten. Their superior control over fire has allowed them to make remarkable metal creations that in terms of resilience can only be matched by the work of the Iron Forged dwarves. Ignis yoso are said to have been said to be able to have such fine control over fire that they can grow a match into a pillar of fire and can become walking weapons of mass destruction. At about 7 feet tall, ignis yoso have an athletic build like that of a human but much more defined and leagues ahead in all physical aspects. Their skin color is much like that of the high elves save for their blazing red harmonic markings, their hair can be found in many shades or red, orange, and black. Much like their hair their eyes can be found in any shade of red, orange, or brown. Due to their constant involvement in foreign diplomacy and their country being the only one of the harmonic nations that share a border with the mainland of the other major races, along with the help of the ventis yoso they have been able to maintain peace between the harmonic yoso and the mainland. Seismic Yoso- They take pride in their military prowess and see each battle scar as the equivalent of a medal. Many seek out a warrior's death, even going as far as issuing one final duel when they feel the time is right. Renowned for their ability to mold the battlefield quite literally to their liking, so much so that the continent of Iwakoku is said to have been created by an immensely strong Shin Terra many millennia ago, much like the rest of Kamideus alongside the gods. Many have made a living from climbing up the military rankings, some have chosen to become mercenaries in search of wealth and combative fame. Other than striving for military might and political power, there are some that dedicate their life to the understanding the creation of Kamideus, and in turn to the Gods of Creation. Seismic yoso are noticeably stouter in stature, having a wide set frame and substantially more muscle mass. Their skin are many shades of light brown accented by their green harmonic markings. Their eyes are normally a startlingly deep emerald, green but can also be shades of brown. Standing at an average height of 10ft tall and a frame to match, seismic yoso can make even an orc feel undersized and even under muscled. Due to their intimidating appearance and battle hungry mentality, many living outside of Iwakoku have grown to have a fear for the seismic yoso, which some take pride in as a show that their strength needs no demonstration. Ventis Yoso- The path to enlightenment is a way of life in the mountainous island of Kazetochi. The Way of the Winds is a long and strenuous journey that few see to completion. They live a peaceful life free of conflict and strive for world peace, but not all ventis yoso feel this way. There are some that still hold old grudges towards the seismic yoso that go back centuries. It is wise to not take their kindness for weakness, for they train their bodies their whole life in search for enlightenment in mind, body, and soul. They go through spiritual training from an early age and take vows to The God of Wind upon graduation from the Gale Temple. Zephyr Monks are the diplomatic leaders of Kazetochi and have historically been influential in global affairs towards the cause for world peace, both politically and militarily. Outsiders may say that living as a ventis yoso is a hard, laborious, and trying life, as it is widely accepted as a nation that a key to true enlightenment is to forgo all desires. An average Adult Ventis yoso in its prime is capable of summoning typhonic winds and can even gain full control of Air Elementals, by no means of force. On rare occasions some even gain the ability to fly. Their height is slightly below average relative to other yoso but in terms of stature some might say that they are rather slim. Their skin complexion can range from shades of white and pale grey to shade of a pale cyan accentuated by their bright white harmonic markings. People will tell you they first notice their startlingly bright blue eyes while few may have pale grey eyes. Most have almost childlike facial features that extinguish any doubts of malintent, even in the adults which help play a factor when it comes to foreign affairs. They are known for their elegant silver hair, though most males choose to shave their heads. Voltaic Yoso- Known only by the other harmonic yoso, the Voltaic yoso live among the clouds in complete solitude save for the other harmonic yoso. The other harmonic yoso may know of their existence, but nothing is known of their location and even less among them know of anything of their culture. All that is known about them is what is told in the stories of the elders. Voltaic yoso has been described in stories having total control over the skies with their ability to manipulate the clouds and having an unmatched destructive power. Some have described them as godlike due to the sheer number of feats told in the stories and this has only been accentuated over the years due to their absence. Sometimes called, Electricons they are believed to be in hiding out of fear of their power causing worldwide turmoil due to fear of their ever-present presence with them making the skies their home, thus making them a target to anybody fearful of their abilities. Many among the harmonic yoso that know of their existence wish for the Voltaic yoso to come out of hiding if they still do exist, but others that pay close attention to the power demonstrated in the stories are grateful for their absence. They are described as around 7-8 feet tall and their eyes are various shades of pale yellow as is their skin and some have even been described to have skin as white as marble, contrasted only by their bright yellow harmonic markings and their alleged golden hair. Dragons- While some dragons have the intelligence and mentality that most would assume a dragon would have, some dragons are capable of vast wisdom and intelligence. Lead by their Omnic Council located in their colossal capitol Zarkhul where dragons live a peaceful life running shops, studying, running diplomacy, or even receiving military training.

Current Conflicts

The elves, dwarves, and humans have been in a 3 way deadlock for the right to lay claim to Jarlheim for over 800 years. tensions are starting to rise to a boiling point and war is beginning to seem inevitable. Some of the dragons of Zarkhul are beginning to grow tiresome of the outside world looking at them as nothing more than beast and asks for retaliation for being hunted, while others feel that the dragons should be doing more to show that they are capable of diplomacy and that the actions of a few don't speak for the majority. The Omnic Council is currently split on their decision whether to proceed with war preparations or to attempt to establish and improve diplomatic relations. The Harmonic Yoso have been in a centuries long cold war due to differing views on how to cooperate with the rest of the realm. The Abyssal Yoso believe that the Yoso are the superior race and deserve to be acknowledged as the superior race within the realm. The Ignis Yoso feel like it is their destiny to be heralded as the rulers of the realm even among the other harmonic yoso. The Seismic Yoso value military might and believe only the strong have earned the right to prosper. The Ventis Yoso have made it clear that they feel that, recognizing the strength of the Harmonic Yoso, they should all act more unified as Harmonics and strive to allow everyone in the realm to live a prosperous life. The Voltaic Yoso have been absent from Harmonic gatherings for the past 6 centuries.

Due to past events in Kamideus his people hold a strong prejudice towards the other inhabitants of the world, save for the other harmonics and the dragonkin. He has a lawfully good alignment and believes in attaining peace but not through direct intervention, for he knows that would only postpone what is bound to happen. Arashi- With his memory altering monk's spade and standing at 8 feet 7 inches tall, Arashi is. The God of Wind, touted as the first and original Zepher monk, is true neutral in nature and believes that fate can change as easily and quickly as the direction of the wind. Contrary to what his believers would say of him, he does not feel a need to fight for nor against peace. Even if it means the downfall of his own people, he views the winds of fate as inevitable. With absolute control over the wind along with his masterful use of his monk's spade, he can create powerful gust of wind capable of stripping a mountainside. Stories say that his winds are what shaped the land of Kazetochi into what it is today. Kaban- The God of Earth is a physical embodiment of his title, with a height of 19 feet 4 inches and a war pick capable of petrifying even a deity in stone, even the gods stay wary of his temper. Viewed to be among the strongest of the Gods of Creation with evidence of the lengths of his power strewn throughout Kamideus, whether it be from past battles, or mere demonstrations of his destructive capabilities. There are legends that say that the very ground we walk on was just a result of Kaban striking the ocean with his war pick. Vulkaris- Credited with being responsible for organizing the Gods of Creation during the Genesis Period. He is known to be lawfully good and one of the most present gods in comparison to his fellow deities, but even so it would be wise to not to oppose him. A staggering 17 feet 3 inches tall and wielding a singularity zweihander and the ability to bend fire to his will, Solanus is said to have power to rival Kaban’s. The God of Fire is a cosmic force to be reckoned with, though he will always choose the diplomatic route over violence due to his desire to avoid a repeat of the Empyrean War at all costs. Legends say that he has a regalness that demands respect from even the gods, especially the few ones old enough to have witnessed his feats. Raijorun- Believed to have power to rival Bahamut, armed with a dimensional electro-scythe, and with a height of 17 feet 6 inches tall, the God of Lightning is both one of the most revered but also feared gods. But only among the other deities, for they are the only beings who have knowledge of his existence save for his descendants. Having a neutral good nature, Raijorun only strives for balance among the mortals and the gods. The world has not known true balance since the Hardronic Era in the early centuries after the Empyrean War, but to avoid history repeating itself Raijorun refuses to directly interfere in mortal affairs as to not be at risk of having other gods mistake his desire for balance as a grasp for power. Only once the Gods of Light and Darkness gave aid were they able to finally create an opening to seal him away.
