In the colossal world of KnightingGale, every soul is born with a class that charts a destiny of sword‑clad glory or arcane mastery, while a shimmering magical overlay shields the planet from relentless demonic incursions that seep through cracks in its protective barrier. Amid towering forests, sky‑piercing mountains, and oceans teeming with abyssal horrors, humans, dragons, dwarves, devils, wolfmen, elves, and the enigmatic Rikerv clash in a brutal hierarchy of knights and wizards, each vying for power, survival, and the ultimate title of King of Knights or Wizard King.

World Overview

Everything is connected to a system with a system like panel where individuals can see there basic stat and skills. Every being is born with their class and that class defines their future in life. It has magical technology such as instead of internet everything is connected on a magical overlay that surrounds the world as a type of barrier to protect the planet from outer dimensional threats. It is highly focused on swordsmanship as there is a hierarchy made up of different ranks of knights with the lowest be squire then apprentice knight, then knight, then Expert knight, master Knight, grandmaster knight, sage knight, then finally King of Knights. They also have a mage ranking but they are few in number as swordsmanship is highly looked up upon while magic is just barely not looked down on. The mage ranking goes magician initiate, apprentice magician, magician, expert magician, master magician, wizard initiate, wizard, expert wizard, master wizard, grandmaster wizard, to wizarding sage, and finally Wizard king.

Geography & Nations

The world is massive being as large as Jupiter. It is full of forests spanning continents with trees rivaling the tallest of skyscrapers. It has mountains that make Mt Everest look like a hill. The oceans are 100s of miles deep housing horrifying monsters of the deep. There are 5 major known kingdoms and hundreds of cities for the landscape between them.

Races & Cultures

The first are the Dragons they rule the entire world from the tallest peak but more as guides than rulers as they are so strong their hatchlings could erase kingdoms with a sneeze. Then there are the Dwarves they are a race that are closest to the dragons as they trade and live in their mountains. The dwarves have the highest reputation with the dragons and are also the most technologically advanced with steam works. Next are the Devils unlike demons devils have sentience and live in the volcanic regions of the world where they live in a strict monarchy with nobles having zero consequences unless it affects the kingdom. Then there are the humans, humans in the long past started a xenophobic war and in result became a slave race to all civilizations though they do produce some good knights and those people are given the right to be free while the weak are turned into slaves. Next are the Wolfmen they are a more tribal race who live and wander the immense forests of the world. Then there are the elves they are the furthest monsters from nature as they live in barren places and hunt all living things to eat them raw with there sharp teeth as they barely have any sentience and only live about 25 years before they start to show signs of sentience but the longer they live the more they come to resemble the peace loving nature elves everyone knows but that takes 1000 years to happen and even then they only become like that if they kill a minimum of 10000 living creatures and eat them. Then finally there are the Rikerv they are a solitary race not even the dragons know much about for they have the potential to surpass even the strongest of dragons but because of that the race has a major flaw. They are extremely weak till the age of 12 where then they gain the abilities to forever grow in power as long as they fight for they only grow stronger when fighting no matter how much training one does they won’t get stronger. They are muscular black furred panther like humanoids with many different features as some have feathers and others have horns or some can change their skin like chameleons it all depends on the class they were born with as their born class changes their body to be the best it can be for their class.

Current Conflicts

There are cracks forming in the shield around the world allowing outer dimensional threats in. While dragons take care of the strongest of them the rest of the world must fight the ones who escape. There are also tensions between humans and every race same as the elves for elves are mostly known to be monsters.

Magic & Religion

Magic works on imagination. If you can clear see how it works in your head you can cast it and the clearer the image in your head the stronger it is. Though there is a downside if the cost is higher than your own magic pool you will have a he y backlash, for the spell will still attempt to cast so it begins to feed off of your life pool plus a 5% of the spells damage is reflected onto you making it extremely easy to kill yourself. Then there are the knights. Higher ranked knights can use aura like magic it can be controlled with imagination but unlike magic it can only be applied to oneself or something they are holding to strengthen. Aura can also be used to sharpen and harden armor or blades and can be shot out like a air blade but at immense costs.

Planar Influences

There is only one plane interacting with there’s known as the demonic plane. Demons unlike devils come from this plane and only the strongest of demons have sentience but those demons only use their sentience to blend in just so they can kill more as they only seek the pleasure of death.

Historical Ages

There used to be an era of human supremacy but the dwarves rallied with the devils and 1 Rikerv who was strong enough to decimate almost the entirety of humanities 1 billion strong army. Allowing the rest of the races to enslave the remaining 2 billion humans and then slaying the weakened Rikerv out of fear.

Economy & Trade

All the races share the same currency and it is demon horns as demons are continuously pouring into the world the use of their horns as currency provides the world a reason to grow stronger. Elves have no trade relations. Dwarves have a trade agreement with the dragons and Devils and some with the few sparse free human settlements.

Law & Society

In Devil society the law is written by nobles as they go along though their are 5 written laws the king himself ordered and no one may break them they are : Never sell out your comrades, If you wish for the position of king admit for a public duel with my highest ranked knight and win then you may challenge me at a later date when you feel you are at your strongest. Never start a war with another nation if you do I will chop off your head and offer it in return for peace and end the rest of your bloodline. Kill all demons. Never trust a human. Next are the dwarves they are a cheerful people who enjoy mining and crafting so they punish people by sending them to be caretakers of dragon hatchlings one of the most feared and dangerous jobs in the world.

Monsters & Villains

Demons are the number one threat with many smaller cults worshipping them beneath the darkness all over the world. Then there are just the beasts of the world that can be just as strong as dragons if you look in the deadliest places of the world.
