In Limeria, a world awash with raw, untamed magic, only a handful of gifted humans and mighty beasts can harness its power, while the rest of society clings to a medieval‑Renaissance blend of chivalric knights and early firearms. Amidst grand castles and bustling towns, the rare spellcasters and formidable creatures shape the fate of kingdoms, turning every battle into a clash of steel and sorcery.

World Overview

It's a world where magic is present in great quantity but can only be wielded by rare individuals and powerful creatures. In terms of technology, the world is a blend of medieval France, with its knights in plate armor in their castles, and the Renaissance, with its early firearms.

Geography & Nations

1/ The Ebla Empire: A rigid empire ruled by Emperor Valdris, nicknamed "the Madman" since the death of his wife under dubious circumstances. The Empire only accepts humans, and if you are someone's son, you have no chance of rising in a society where nobles jealously guard their power and envy that of others. Seven great families share all the power, including that of the king, whose heir is Princess Helianor, still unmarried. 2/ The Shogunate: An independent country living on the coasts, where humans coexist with fish-men. For them, honor is paramount; they are extraordinary sailors and skilled fighters. Their leader is the famous Kirigaya Misako, the first woman to attain this position after the civil war started by her brother. 3/ The Khanate: A country composed of vast, fertile plains where agriculture is easy. Considered the breadbasket of the continent, the landscapes are traversed by the great nomadic human tribes and the terrifying lizardfolk led by their powerful sorcerers. The tribes are governed by a grand council where Taichar "the Nomad" and the powerful lizard sorcerer Krorquk share power over the other chieftains. 4/ Frankia: an independent country, much smaller than its neighbors, but also the country with the highest concentration of fortresses and castles. Swearing by chivalry and sieges, they resist the influence and attacks of their neighbors thanks to the old King Lottar II, who refuses to die, and the aid of the Dwarves and their king Tuldrouc of the Red Mountains, who have fought side by side for over 100 years. 5/ The primeval forests: several forests across the world where the high elves live. They are extremely closed off from the outside world and relentlessly attack merchant convoys and Frankia, which, according to legend, is built on the ashes of the oldest forest in history and the ruins of the first elven civilization. 6/ The Holy States: a theocratic federation of states under the rule of the Church of the Gods. They are ruled with an iron fist by the Inquisition and their Grand Master Maldvadus, who sees heresy everywhere, especially among those who do not submit to his rules. 7/ The Free Cities: a confederation of independent cities that trade with everyone without distinction and are generally neutral. Ruled by high-ranking vampires and humans who live in surprising peace, provided they respect the following rule: day for humans and night for vampires. This means the cities never sleep; there's always something to do and trade. 8/ The Floating Islands: a group of islands that fly and move through the sky with the wind, thanks to the greatest magical spell in history, nearly 1000 years old. The islands are habited by mages of all species who have sought a safe place for themselves and their brethren. The great libraries contain more knowledge than a human could acquire in several lifetimes. Mysteries such as the purpose of life and the complete hour-by-hour chronology are kept there with the utmost care. 9/ The Desolate Lands: Once a magnificent place ruled by the last two dragons, Umry, Lord of the Skies, and Fupal, Lady of the Skies, and guarded by their respective legions: the Gold Legion and the Silver Legion. These were almost immortal warriors, considered living weapons, and armies of a single man, numbering 5,000 per legion. Today, the magnificent landscape is disappearing because the dragons are no more, and their legions died with them. 10/ Various small, insignificant states and clans

Races & Cultures

The races present are humans, dwarves, elves, fish-men, lizard-men, vampires, orcs, and goblins. Previously, there were also Titans and dragonoids, who disappeared long ago.

Current Conflicts

The empire is on the brink of civil war; the slightest spark could plunge the continent's most powerful nation into indescribable chaos. The Khanate and the Shogunate are at war because of the Shogunate's desire to seize fertile territory at the Khanate's expense. Frankia defends itself against the elves from the primeval forests and wages terrible campaigns of vengeance. The Holy States are trying to bring the Free Cities under their control. Less than a year ago, the empire, the Holy States, and the elves united to conquer the Desolate Lands. After fierce fighting, Umry died and Fupal was captured. The two legions defended themselves as best they could to protect their masters, but faced with the combined armies of three countries, they held their ground honorably but ultimately failed. Rumors suggest that Fupal is locked up and held somewhere under the great mountains of the Holy States with his egg, and that some legionnaires are trying to free their mistress and the last hope of the dragon race. some secrete organisation try their best to reach their goal: the Order want to rule the world over an strong global gouvernement their will create and control. in the other way, the Hand want freedom and peace for all people, even if that say killing ruller of powerfull people to gain freedom. and between them there are the Syndicate, an criminal organisation who have take control of the under world at an impossible speed, they want profit and no more. the three organisation are in war, each time their an assassinat or an hostage or a crime, at least one of them is involve

Magic & Religion

Magic works in different ways: runes are the simplest, while summoning is the most difficult. Necromancy is tolerated but frowned upon, and metamorphosis is considered an art. Meanwhile, religion has a varied pantheon that changes according to what the living believe; gods die and are born constantly, but the most important ones are always there: the god of light, the god of war, the goddess of fertility, the goddess of agriculture, the goddess of justice, and the god of the forge are the most important.
