Default anime fantasy world, TBATE vibe (I hope)

World Overview

One in a 1000 childrean born with magic affinity. Mage houses have higher chance, but not 100%. Tecnology level - high medieval, first gunpowder only begin to appear (only dwarfs use it), but a lot of technology moved by magic. A lot of think build around Adventurers. This world have a lot of different monsters in it - from size of a rat to size of a big ship. So Adventurers are needed. But there is not that much monsters. They are usually at the size of a wolf or a horse. Big ones come out very rarely. It is known where they may live, so everyone tries not to provoke them

Geography & Nations

The known world (Old World) - large continent, devided into few nations be race. Largest nation - Human Realm, have different sub nations (cultures) in it. Sit's moslty on plain in the middle, tundra and arctic forest up north along wih Large North Sea, Great Forest on the East and Great Mountain Ridge by the South. On the West an Nort they border Blue Abyss (the Ocean). By the south the border Great Mountain Ridge and the Dwarf Realm, who live in the mountains. Dwarfs also have different cultures inside of their kingdom, but dominant one is the Stone Dwarfs (mountains). Great Mountain Ridge as long as whole continent, so Dwarf kingdom quite large, with many semi-independent realms. In the center of the continent are The Great Forest, the Elven Realm. Elven Realm also partly contains plain and mountains and borders Human Realm on the West, Dwarfs on the South, WIlderness and Beastfolk Realm on The east. On the East we Have beastfolk realm, the smallest realm on the continet. They live mostly on steps, savanahs and a bit of the forest. North From Elven Realm, East from Human realm and West from Beastfolk Realm lies Skyvale - the newest nation, formed as a result on th last war. It's a neutral territory, where each race have the same rights. This is the centre of culture, science and progress. The capital of the Skyvale, the City of Isenfell, hosts largest magic agademy in the world, where students from whole world come together to learn and share experience. This city and this county - last hope for evelasting peace

Races & Cultures

Human mostly in Human Realm, Elves in Elven Realm, Dwarfs in Dwarf Realm and Beastfolk in Beatfolk Realm. Also there is a lot of inter races like half elf, half dwarf, half beastfolk etc., but they are very rare due to conflicts and racism inside each nation

Current Conflicts

800 years ago Humans and Dwarfs came to the Continent on the ships from the West-North of the continent. At that time only Elves, Beasfolk and diferent creatures lived on the Continent. Humans quickly concured the large part of land stopped only by the Graet Forest. Dwarfs settled in the mountains by kicking mountain elves and beastfolk away. So, Humans and Dwarfs have an allience, as well as elves and beastfolk live on peace with each other. Now there is no war betwer nations for almost 200 years, but tention as usually high. Country of Skyvale was created with a purpose of uniting all races and cultures, promote tollerantion and freedom. Not everyone likes this approach yet. The country ruled by the Council of Three, where all three councellors chosen by the people of Skyvale.

Magic & Religion

Elves are the most common magic users. Almost 1 in 500 of their kids can use magic. Their God is the Moon, because they lerned how to refill mana during nights more effectively, Truthfully - there is no such God. Human and beastfolk can use magic to, 1 in 700 of them can atleast. First human on the continent used raw and uneficient magic called rittuals, but now, lerned from Elves, humans use incantation magic and magic cyrcles. Beasfoolk use more wild type of magic, mostly to boost their own physical strengh. Dwarfs can't use magic at all. Humans believe in the Goddess of Light, they have priests and priestessess who can heal wounds and releas curses by praying to the Goddess. But there is no such Goddess as well, there is just the power of the Light with no deitie. Every nation have their own tradition of learning magic. Beastfolk - by instinct, Humans - by tutoring, Elves - by communal gatherings. But in the nation on Skyvale there is unified Academy of Magic, where anyone who can use magic can learn how to use it, using best practices from each nation. Now - it's the best place to learn Magic. How magic works: each User hane an affinity. Affinity determine which element of magic user CAN use. For example, Fire Affinity mage cannot use water or wind, only Fire and Base magic (shield, simple projectiles, telecinesis etc.). Also, each mage have mana and output levels. Combined those parameters can tell how strong mage is. Most mages are from 5 to 10 Power level (90% of the mages) - they have one affinity, a bit of mana and output. Weakest can use one or two spells before they get depleted. 5 level mages can cast up to 5 fireballs, depends on balance of mana and output. From the power level of 4 and higher legend begins. Level 4 mages usually climb high in their career, becoming teachers at the Academy or private mages at noble houses. Level 3 mages - usually military commanders or officers, can be royal guards, their power can be enough to win against 5-10 armed knighrs. There is very few of them. Level 2 mages - legends and heroes. They can defeat monsters by their own or large groups of knights. Level 1 mages - their power can be enough to win war. And a secred level - Level 0. Nobody are sure this is possible. It is said, that only the mage who have all 5 basic affinities + light and dark affinities can become a level 0 mage. Mage can develop their outup and mana in time, but the highest they can go without second affinity or real talent - Level 3-5.

Planar Influences

They are not. Individual mages can create pocket dimenson with light or dark ot base magic, if they at least level 3.

Historical Ages

This is a quite young continent. Beastfolk appeared 5000 years ago and discovered civilization only the elves come to this world through portals. And as I said, humans arrived 800 years ago. So there is only elven ruins sometimes/

Economy & Trade

Bronze, Silver and Gold coins. Traid Routes all over the place, especially inside nations. Not too many between nations. Skyvale - international hub.

Law & Society

Adventurers - legalised, sometimes can become heroes, everybody respect them. They're organised by the Guild. The Guild manages requests, emergencies, small conflicts between noble houses etc. Then they assign the rank of the adventurer, appropriate to take the quest. There are these ranks: S, AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, E, F. Most adventurers sits on C-F scale, gathering into parties to fight back bandits, clear smaller monster dens. "A" class adventurer can do it alone, but also need a party to defeat bigger number of bandints, or bigger monset. AA, AAA and S are legends

Monsters & Villains

A lot of different monsters. Also there it is unknown if this continent is the only one, also if there is any other worlds, for example - the home world of Elves

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Lunareth?

Default anime fantasy world, TBATE vibe (I hope)

What is Spindle?

Spindle is an interactive reading app where you become the main character in richly crafted story worlds. Think of it like stepping inside your favorite book—you make choices, shape relationships, and discover how the story unfolds around you. If you love series like Fourth Wing or A Court of Thorns and Roses, Spindle lets you live inside worlds with that same depth and drama.

How do I start a story in Lunareth?

Tap "Create Story" and create your character—give them a name, a look, and a backstory. From there, the story opens around you and you guide it by choosing what your character says and does. There's no wrong way to read; every choice leads somewhere interesting, and the narrative adapts to you.

Can I write my own fiction?

Absolutely. Spindle gives storytellers the tools to build and publish their own worlds—craft the lore, the characters, the conflicts, and the magic. Once you publish, other readers can discover and experience your story. It's a beautiful way to share the worlds living in your imagination.

Is Spindle a game?

Spindle is more of an interactive reading experience than a traditional game. There are no scores to chase or levels to grind. The focus is on story, character, and the choices you make. Think of it as a novel where you're the protagonist—the pleasure is in the narrative, not the mechanics.

Can I read with friends?

Yes! You can invite friends into the same story. Each person plays their own character, and the narrative weaves everyone's choices together. It's like a book club where you're all inside the book at the same time—perfect for friends who love the same kinds of stories.
