Midornia is a grim medieval realm where kingdoms like the necromantic Duskhold and the holy Windhelm clash beneath a sky forever stained by war, magic, and the looming threat of the god of death, Dimiros. In this sprawling world of elves, orcs, and argonians, adventurers must navigate treacherous trade routes, deadly cults, and the ever‑present shadow of the Throat of the World, where ancient dragons once fought, to survive the brutal dance between light and darkness.

World Overview

Midornia is a dark fantasy world where different people and creatures live. It is a dark place where a lot of killing happens. Magic is in this world but doesn't come to everybody. This is a medieval world. It is a vast world where not much good happens, but it can happen.

Geography & Nations

Midornia is a dark world where major kingdoms control major parts of the world. There are many different kingdoms and the land near them differ depending on the kingdom. Duskhold is a major kingdom southwest filled with undead and necromancers. Their leader is the Dusk King, the most powerful necromancer of all. A hulking skeletal man. To the north east is the snowy kingdom Windhelm, ruled by their king Ulfric Stormcloak. Windhelm hosts the army of holy knights who follow Nothanios. Zerion is a warmer city near the middle of Midornia. In the exact middle of Midornia there is the tallest mountain called the throat of the world where the Talos fought multiple dragons when he was still a man. Molignia is a very tropical in the south east area in Midornia. And the last major Kingdom in Mithornia is Tamrenia. It is on the otherside of the throat of the world than Zerion is. There are many towns and cities scattered around Midornia. Many beaches in the south east and the north east is very cold and snowy. In Duskhold it is very cloudy and the surrounding water is green. Zerion is usually warm and sunny. It is the happiest kingdom but crime still happens.

Races & Cultures

There are many different races in this world. There are humans, elves, lizard people called argonians, orcs, and other fantasy races. Orcs have strongholds scattered around Midornia but also populate the cities. The argonians inhabit the warmer parts of the world. Humans are everywhere and so are elves. Elves are a human like race with pointy ears and lankier. They are better with magic than any other race. Argonians thrive in the warmth and the water. Orcs are big and strong.

Current Conflicts

Duskhold is being looked at differently between the rest of the world as an evil place. Magic has recently been coming to more people, and many are abusing their power. Many armies are contesting each other and being brutal to the people who are in their way.

Magic & Religion

Magic doesn't come to everyone and most people have to train to use it, but it comes to some naturally, especially elves. It works like most other magics. Many gods influence the world. There is the god of light and most good, Nothanios. There is Cerdios, the god of war and conflict. There is Verinthia, the god of wildlife and agriculture. There is Talos, the man who was made a god. There is Bezelus, the god of greed and crime. There is Henalid, the god of the weather. They also can have their demigod children in Midornia. The demi gods of Midornia are very powerful beings, although being part human makes them less powerful than the gods. The last god is Dimiros, the god of death and agony. Demigods can influence their own things in the world in some cases.

Planar Influences

The underworld gives the necromancers of Duskhold power. The Dusk King can enter the underworld and leave it as he pleases, effectively making him immortal. There is Sovngarde, a heaven like place where warriors who die gloriously go. And there is Olympia, the plane where the gods converge. All gods have their own plane where some people who lived their path in life and served them go.

Historical Ages

We are in the third era. The first era ended when Talos ascended into godhood. The second era ended when Dimiros attacked the people of Midornia and Cerdios causes much war to spread across Midornia. Bezelus also spread a lot of crime and greed then.

Economy & Trade

Septim is the main currency of this world. Most Kingdoms have trade route between each other while some do it to gain instead of give. Most kingdoms don't have trade routes with Duskhold. Usually people trade and barter.

Law & Society

Midornia can be an unjust place where people are jailed and executed. Most societies don't mind adventurers but Duskhold doesn't like them.

Monsters & Villains

Midornia holds evil creatures such as ogres, dragons, and other magical creatures than stumble into the realm. Cult's are scattered around Midornia but try to hide low until their time comes. Dimiros is an evil god who unleashes evil but hasn't shown himself since the end of the second era, many fear his return. The Dusk King is a cruel and very powerful man who rules over the evil kingdom Duskhold.
