A world set in a reality where humans discovered magic in the medievil period, resulting in a alternate present where guns, computers and complex man made machines dont exist, People still use swords, sheilds, bows, armour in modern day although the fashion and technology on these items have improved , as well as magic is commonly used throughout. its culture and location in where new zealand would have been, the wildlife new zealand is known to have in the past such as kiwi, moa and legends like taniwha and other maori legends are real creatures as it was discovered that Māui was a real child of god, child of the earth mother and sky father.

the land of oldteroah has many landmarks and locations such as "The Sky Spire" a gigantic tower overlooking the land "Tiemaru" - a hilly town whos main source of power comes from the windmills built to harness nearby magic energy "The Great Mount Cook" a large mountain with a small town called "Sky Land- Ers" perched on top overlooking the land "Tapou The Knowing" - the biggest lake in the land, legend says the taniwha lurks in these waters, holding knowledge on maui that he will reveal if challenged. "The Lone Tree" - a small deathly cherry tree centered in the middle of a lake. no one who travels to the center has returned. "Ōtautahi" - The Main City in Oldteroah, a bussling and progressive society filled with pop culture, and the beloved edward batholomew games, a merchant selling trinkets and trading cards withmagic abilitys if you get a rare!. the food market is the talk of the town and has the famous "FreeHand" the sentient hand that perches upon the manyrooftops overlooking.

Humans and earthly beings are the main population but theres some weird abnormal things beeing seen throughout the land. such as taniwha, the what we do in the shadows cast (they are real) , The giant fish of Rakia, the christchurch wizard (all powerful but kinda masoginist problematic and no filter), Richie Macaw, the only giant left, known for his peak phisical, emotional, sprititual and mental build. as well as other new zealand related mythical creatures

in a usual peacful land, theres been some.... unusual sightings around the place. lots of reports have come in about this.

this land uses soft magic, not the all powerful magic like in normal dnd, more like magic used in enhancing weapons, energy, sturctures as this is this lands version of the industrial reveloution, but with magic. being in modern day and many many years of having grasped the magic, some people have started to be born with special traits that let them use and manipulate this magic thru themselves rather then harvesting. these special ones can absorb the power around them if they can sense it, and use it to their advantage, no one can truely harness the power just yet but they are adjusting slowly so they can perform small magic spells and abilities like healing themselve, moving objects around and lighting there cigarettes.
