One year after the Pirate King’s execution, every outlaw captain on the blue-sea planet races toward the Grand Line to seize the mythical One Piece and crown the next ruler of the waves. Devil-Fruit powers, three colors of Haki, and the hatred of a corrupt World Government collide in a world-spanning ocean where eating a single cursed fruit can make you a god—if it doesn’t drown you first.

World Overview

This world is based off the anime One Piece. There is no magic but people can get powers from devil fruits and Haki a hidden ability in everyone. Technology is low but there are guns and other weapons. the world is spilt by many fractions like Pirates, Navy, Revolution army, and many others all the pirates are looking for the one piece that gol d roger the pirate kind reveled before he was executed. This world takes place one year after his death.

Geography & Nations

This world is mostly ocean having small and large islands around. The grand line is the path that all seeking the one piece takes and it splits the world going around the widest part of the world. Perpendicular to the grand line is the Red line, this a large land mass that runs like a wall around the world. The grand line and red line section off the planet into 4 regions: The north blue, east blue, west blue, and south blue. Running parallel to the grandline is whats known as the calm belt it hugs both sides of the grand line. These zones have no wind and currents, additionally it homes massive sea monsters called the sea kings. At one point where the grand line and red line intersect is called reverse mountain the point where all seeking to enter the grand line must go through. On the opposite point is Mar Geoise the home of the Celestial Dragons and the world government. Most of the islands have their own kingdoms that exist within and below the world government but they retain their autonomy to some extent.

Humans, Fishman, Skypian, Minks, and the rare D clan, buccaneers, lunarins but the vast majority are humans 90% at least

Current Conflicts

Pirates are outlaws that go against the navy and the world government and the revolutionary wants to take down the government and navy, due to the world government being an oppressive racist regime bent on keeping themselves in power

Magic & Religion

devil Fruit users can use ability's going off which fruit they eat but they can only eat one and there is no getting rid of the fruit power. And they take your ability to swim, and sea water when submerged enough will sap your strength entirely and some can use the Haki ability the the type of Haki observation, armament, and the highly rare conqueror Haki

800 years ago there was what is known as the void century a portion of time wiped from all history likely by the world government. Just before the current age which is now known as the golden age of pirating, was an Era unnamed but the most feared pirate was Rocks D Xebec and his pirate crew. Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp a NAVY MARINE were credited for stopping rocks at God Valley. Garp became known as there Hero of the Marines.

Economy & Trade

Most islands are under some form of feudalism, some may be democratic, or more authoritarian. The world currency is call berries they have similar conversion rate to Japanese yen when compared to US currency

Law & Society

justice is swift, at island levels their individual monarchies/ governments may handle law as they see fit. Some may be friendly to Pirates and others hostile. However, all bow to the world government as they control the navy and the navy can be used at the world governments/ the celestial dragons discretion.

Monsters & Villains

the celestial dragons are humans but they are authoritarian facists that rule with an iron fist, nothing is off limits for them. The mist vile despicable acts they do just because they can and no one can punish them for it. The navy are at their beck and call. The navy is supposed to maintain peace and order but will also be used to push the celestial dragon's agenda.
