These people are considered a mix of humans and giants. These people are jovial, helpful and talented. They contain a deep history that is considered taboo by the World Government. They are nordic and swedish inspired viking like people. Spacefolk: These average humanoid people are actually from different celestial bodies that have settled so long in these lands they forgot they are from space. The world government and pirate crews feature a mix or focus on different people under a strong ideology. More exotic creatures are often choosing to remain difficult to navigate areas or in the new world in hopes to evade the World Government, as these exotic peoples hold true histories that are considered taboo by the World Government.

Current Conflicts

A constant warring battle between freedom lead ideologies have pirates and marines fighting against each other. The World Government has created a militaristic and dangerous organization based on the Navy and employs many other types of organizations like Cipher Pol to investigate growing powers, alliances and allies, and notable powerful pirates. People around the world can either fear or respect the World Government depending on if crews are deployed there and operate honestly and without cruelty, though Marines of the World Government can sometimes grow drunk with power. Mary Geoise: An organization that is considered the most elite in all the world, these people often have great sway under the world government and can command the Navy on their whim. These elites often refer to each other as Celestial Dragons to let the world know they are greater and above everyone except each other and the 5 Elders, if they know, Imu. Within the World Government is a hidden figure with a larger than life devil fruit, supposedly based on the Japanese ocean giant, this hidden figure is called Imu. Not much is known but they are considered taboo and a world spanning secret. They are considered the secret ruler of the World Government and have a council of 5 Elders referring to each other on Romanic names for planets. Pirates: ever since the golden ages of pirates, the pirate lifestyle and alliances have become the talk of true freedom away from the World Government. Pirates may run complex organizations based on power, personality or even just promise of greatness to people, but often Pirates are more simplistically run due to the challenges of organizing. Great pirates have powers that defy reality and can take out whole armies, either through devil fruit, strength or haki, will become figures that can dominate whole areas or islands based on their powers. Recently, this new age of piracy was inspired by Gol.D Roger, a legendary figure that was captured by the World Government that knew secrets and taboos that undermined the world government. Powerful enough to take on armies, bastions and even invade Mary Geoise more than once, this man was called the king of the pirates. During his final years and greatest achievement, Gol.D Roger discovered the true history of the world, and world's greatest treasure lost during the void century. Inspired by Gol.D Roger’s promise of his hidden treasure, One Piece, the 2nd greatest age of piracy has made this a new age. This new age is often called the Worst Generation. The Worst Generation featured 13 pirates that are legacy and newbies powerful enough to defy the world government. Revolutionary Army: This new faction has gone against the World Government due to their deeply problematic and often reckless unchecked power. The revolutionary army has seen the true depths of the depravity by the celestial dragons and the world government. Rivaling the world government and deep desire to right wrongs done by the World Government, they are considered military minded, deeply educated tacticians with a defiant nature. They witnessed and catalogued the world government’s many atrocities. The Revolutionary Army has seen the world government tear down countries that don’t align with the World Government, witnessed slavery and genocides. And often are in touch with the darker aspects of the Navy and World Government.

Historical Ages

This history is inspired by One Piece and a fantasy-like age of exploration. There is a lost era of culture. Ancient History from before any age concurrently. This Lost Era contains ancient technology that would be so advanced that it could be considered Magic. Very few clans and kingdoms can recall some knowledge but nearly all of this history is lost. The Golden Age of Piracy: This age is considered the most loud and recent. For the first time, the Age of Piracy in its infancy challenged the world stage and the World Government. D Rogers helming this most tumultuous age of Piracy. The Worst Generation. This age of history had the next age of pirates greatly inspired by the Golden Age of Piracy. Law & Society

This rule of law and society is inspired by One Piece. This also was inspired by the real world age of Exploration and the Golden Age of Piracy. Justice is held by the World Government. The world government is a collection of many different kingdoms ranging from primitive to advanced Victorian society. Laws are upheld and enforced by the Marines. But discretion on application of the law is up to the Marine. Marines can prefer to enforce marital law or be incredibly relaxed in their application of the law, it truly depends on how much The World Government wants to influence their area. This is ultimately based on if the area has a plentiful and dependent resource. Kingdoms have means to extract and develop resources, but many islands and oceans help develop marine lifestyles. Adventures are seen as Pirates. People outside of the law, and often bring in trouble. Marines are required first to see if they are active pirates. They have to witness a crime in the process or know of a plot regarding pirates in the area. Pirates may just be average tradesmen or unsanctioned looters and raiders. Often Pirates are seeking treasure from lost kingdoms or defenseless towns, they won’t be overambitious unless they have means like devil fruit or proficiency haki users. Stronger Pirates come together to forge alliances and sail under many different interests. Sanctioned Pirates are considered Privateers or Tradesmen. Tolerated or Sanctioned Sailors that are actively trying to better everyone’s lives. Marines can either like or actively dislike Sanctioned Pirates or Privateers. Though these sanction are more working for the World Government or Local Town or Kingdom, they can still be held accountable to the World Government’s Rule of Law. Though Sanction Pirates exist, they have to be exceptional with many different combat or unique knowledge. Emperors are Pirates so elite they cannot be contained by the World Government or Marines. Either an incredibly cunning or battle tested Pirate or Privateer, they can defend against any other sailor within the sea. Yonkos often have an area of influence in any sea. They can choose to do good or bad. These people can become their own rule of law very easily.

Monsters & Villains

Monsters can be the traditional beasts. Monsters can also come from island life from different dangerous carnivorous flora or fauna. Animals raised in a dangerous environment can make life incredibly difficult for islanders or explorers. Sailors may encounter different wildlife or environments that are fantastical or inspired by primitive and dangerous cultures. Sea Beasts: Seabeasts are larger than life animals that patrol bodies of water for different schools of fish. Sea beasts are known to vigorously defend an area or challenge tradesmen on trade routes. Oftentimes it takes a fisherman to encourage a seabeast to leave. Or a powerful foe to discourage the beast from attacking. Bounty Hunters are a regular intermediate faction when the World Government is too busy to intercede. Bounty Hunters are talented Pirate hunters that can fight using different fighting styles or knowledgeable tactics. Bounty Hunters are natural sailors using swords and guns against people. Though ambitious Bounty Hunters might focus on a specific type of prey like Devil Fruit Users. The World Government: The World Government can be just as bad as main villains. These Marines give other marines a bad name. Often these are people left unchecked by the government either through negligence or absent mindism. While Commanders, Captains and Lieutenants are talented in fighting all types of enemies, more practiced Marines are tasked to focus on Pirates or big issues. Devil Fruit Head of Factions. Devil Fruit Users that slowly took over areas of influence and developed into an unauthorized force can command bandits and forces against people on land or the sea. These people are quiet and clever. Others might become loud problems when left unchecked. Secret Entities: Different Secret Society and Factions are often looking for lost lore, treasure or unclaimed islands. They can work for kingdoms or local governing bodies. Oftentimes these people operate in secret due to selected agendas and focuses. Celestial Dragons and World Nobles: These people are selected noble and kingdom rulers that are aware that the world is slowly drowning. They take pleasure in ruling with an iron fist and can command the World Government and Marines to act in their interest. These people can be good and work for the greater good, but these cases are so very rare. Slavers: Slavers are all over the place. Factions of different people that are looking at rarity and unique circumstances to collect people, places or things. They can range from very uncomplex and simple. Unique Slavers can be incredibly formidable and dangerous. Bad Fishermen: These fishermen are so well organized and mafia-like they can hold entire towns hostage. While regions are harder to maintain it is possible if they have competent leaders and followers. Different Factions, Entities can use each other as resources outsourcing work and different means to undermine factions and leaders to destabilize a region, island or government. It’s common that a well organized faction or government can be the ringleader and have many different tactics working. Naturally powerful islanders can seek to enter into the conflict and become a menace in the right circumstance. These can be fishmen, giants, skyfolk, minkfolk, or devil fruit users.
