In the high‑magic realm of Phonessus, only the most dedicated wielders—archmages, sword masters with their Aura, and elite adventurers—rise to royal status, while four rival kingdoms vie for dominance across forests, mountains, and bustling cities. World Overview

high magic however only those trained in it can truly use it. Some very dedicated masters of the sword can attain the rank of sword master and they have a signature trait that makes them sword masters that is called Aura. Aura is the manifestation of willpower and only a select few can wield it. The world is medieval using bows and swords. The world place archmages, sword masters and high ranking adventurers on pedestals and treat them as royalty.

Geography & Nations

There are 4 major kingdoms, but multiple smaller ones who fight each other to gain influence and try to become another major one leading to power struggles and conflicts around the world. The Blusphere Empire and its capital Silvana , a theological empire that is mostly run by humans. The empire is mostly flat, with forests, mountains and large cities all over. The Cyrus kingdom and its capital Solaris, a democratical kingdom that consists of a mix of many races, mainly beast kin, but anyone is allowed to settle there irrespective of their race. the kingdom has tons of mountains, lakes, forests and lots of villages, only having a few large cities. The Elderwood forest, having no capital. The forest is run by elves and they only let other elves inside and those they deem worthy. the forest has multiple small villages and they have their largest village right by the Elderwood tree, the largest tree in the forest. The Cruivell Kingdom and its capital Mordor, a kingdom in the mountains run by dwarves. the kingdom consists of tunnels and caves in the mountains with massive forges and mines. They also control who can come into their kingdom, but they aren't as picky as the elves are.

Races & Cultures

Any race you can think of exists in this world and for the most part they live in harmony with each other. Some races tend to keep to themselves as they enjoy their own company better than others, such races include the Elves, Dwarfs and Dryads. What almost every race has in common is that they tend to have slaves from among the other races than themselves.

Current Conflicts

The elves and the dwarves kind of don't like each other, but that doesn't affect their political relations, only when a dwarf meets an elf in private. There are constant wars between kingdoms as the societies tries to stabilise themselves.

Magic & Religion

Magic works by channeling the energy in the air and only those who have a talent for it and has studied it for a long time can truly use it. There are countless deities, one for every thing in the world, but they don't influence the world much, only the larger deities influence it often such as the god of war, goddess of beauty and love, goddess of wisdom, god of death and the goddess of life.
