World Overview

A world purged into never ending wars, Roundtable shows ruthless fighting between kingdoms over the now baron land of Europa. With the east sits in a world of never ending cold, the west is nothing but endless dry land. Rulers fight over ideology, resources, and power. Men use petty and dark magic (Such as healing small wounds and necromancy) to gain an edge over their enemy. This world taking place in mid 1260s-1300s. With gunpowder still an experimental weapon, plate armor, leather and chainmail, swords, and longbows still rule the battleground.

Geography & Nations

There are 7 major kingdoms all with their own unique dressing style, fighting style, weapons, ideology, and religion. The first being The Great Gospel kingdom being the last remnants of the holy crusaders. Now the dominating kingdom of the very west coast, they occupy the modern day territories of France and western Germany. Kicked out of the holy lands, their whole existence is wrapped around reclaiming the holy land. The kingdom of Sand reside in the now captured holy land where the believe by holding the land, they can harness the power of the gods when they return to the earth. The kingdom of the dragon are a kingdom who rule all of modern day Japan and China. They dig deep to their roots, living by a radicalized samurai code. Two kingdoms reside in what is modern day Russia. They both believe in the same god but one side believes that the devil will ascend upon earth before god does, and the other believes the opposite. The two kingdoms are referred as The City of Dawn and The City of Dusk. The two last kingdoms reside in south Asia where little are known about them because of how baron and dangerous the land is to traverse.

Current Conflicts

All kingdoms clash constantly in a struggle for power and religion.

Magic & Religion

All kingdoms believe in their own unique otherworldly religion. Magic in this realm is petty, mainly consisting of healing, necromancy, physical damaging magic( Lacerations, broken bones, blunt damaging) and cloaking magic. (Allowing the user to become invisible/ blending with the environment.) for small periods of time.

Historical Ages

Not much is known before the current events leading to the great wars of Europa.

Economy & Trade

Trade is very futile and is only done between bands of nomads who periodically purchase goods from travelling scavengers to sustain their nomadic lifestyles/ families. Trade routes are unknown to the public, since the routes are kept a very tight secret between the band of scavengers.

Law & Society

laws are decided by kingdoms based off their religion, but most follow the strict peasants work to sustain the kingdom and the army fights for the king. While travelers are not necessarily welcomed, they are tolerated by the kingdoms.

Monsters & Villains

Besides the kingdoms themselves, the only threats to trade and resources would be the occasional bandit gangs. But beside them, there is a small underground group of assassins who work as hired killers, used by kingdoms to gain political advantages in wars.
