In the shattered realm of The Land of Forever, the dwindling remnants of magic clash with a rising age of metal and armor as four kingdoms—Empire, Wilds, Nightcrawlers, and Lightbringers—vie for survival amid a collapsing mystical plane, while the Nightcrawlers relentlessly assault the Lightbringers' crumbling bastion of hope. Amid deserts that split forests, oceans that weave like spiderwebs, and a war‑scarred populace, alliances shift and ancient enchanted armories whisper of a forgotten High King, promising that the fate of this world hinges on whether the fragile light can outlast the encroaching darkness.

World Overview

The world is shaped by the magic wielders, now moving towards the era of metals and Armour after the war decimated most of the world's magic supply. Deserts separated by forests, oceans connected like spiderwebs with rivers and lakes.

Geography & Nations

4 major kingdoms. The Empire, known to be courageous and righteous in their own truths but limited by basic metals and unable to wield magic. The Wilds, known to take in refugees from the other kingdoms but mostly comprised of Elves and Orcs. The orcs are brutes with great strength but less than average mentality for anything beyond fighting and drinking while the Elves are more known to be calmer and more subtle but jus as deadly as they work from the shadows. The smaller of the kingdoms is The Nightcrawlers. Small in numbers but when in forces can be a unstoppable force that devours the light. Deadly in packs, weakened by themselves. The Lightbringers. Once a formidable force that held back the forces of evil and darkness but now dwindling in numbers after the war killed most of the population that was able to fight.

Races & Cultures

The Elves who are kind and caring, closely allied with the Orcs for extra protection. The Nightcrawlers used to be ordinary people who were corrupted by a darkness in the war now being trained by a mage warrior that survived the war. The Lightbringers who made landfall in this world and created the first kingdoms stood for a thousand years now in danger of collapse by the hands of the nightcrawlers.

Current Conflicts

The Nightcrawlers are constantly attacking the Lightbringers army and civilians and endangering the population. The Wilds attempt to help but are being confronted by the Empire and are unable to send aide to the Lightbringers.

Magic & Religion

Only a few magic wielders remain, it can be taught to others but the worlds supply is failing and becoming weaker and now isnt as effective as it was in the war.

Planar Influences

The magical plane is a different pool of energy that is linked to the surface world but now collapsing under its own structure.

Historical Ages

The Lightbringers first High King, Krageth the Honorable, made the first kingdom and discovered the magical plane and learned the ways of magic. Legends say he had an armory of fully enchanted weapons locked behind multiple sealed doors.

Economy & Trade

The currency widly used is Coin. The Wilds usually provide most of the kingdoms with plentiful foods such as fresh meat, incredibly large fruits and vegetables. The Empire supplies a large selection of metals and ores for making different weapons and armor. The Lightbringers are in control of the magic wielders and making sure it isnt being used for the wrong reasons.
