In the shattered realm of Mir, three teifling kingdoms—Calyra, Benia, and Moton—forge uneasy alliances to repel the chaotic Teiusan hordes, while ancient rivalries and cursed lands test their resolve, and mighty Calyran horses stand as living legends against dragonfire. Amidst river‑bound plains, mountain‑clad citadels, and forest‑high sanctuaries, the faithful of Oros, Udar, and Elunara channel divine power to heal, forge, and rally against the relentless march of chaos.

World Overview

You gain magic by being born with it or gaining it through a god or goddess. All three kingdoms are trying their best to work together to fight off the forces of Teuian, but Calyra has been decimated, and many have disappeared, been kidnapped, or killed. The kingdoms of Moton and Benia have a turbulent history marked by many wars and deep-seated animosity. They try their best to work together, but they often end up messing things up because of their old hatred for each other. Characters from Benia and Calyra will always start negative instead of neutral for each other, and you roll disadvantage on charisma and persuasion. Calyran horses have been known to be stronger and larger than any type of horse in the land of Mir, even being able to withstand being shot with arrows and dragonfire.

Geography & Nations

Calyra is one of the three kingdoms. It's a town mostly in the plains, with vast rolling hills and mountains. Mainly, running rivers go through this territory. They are known for their food, for they are always in surplus, and their strong horses. Their capital is Grey Horse. It's near the center of Calyran territory and surrounded by rivers. The Great River has been fought over for centuries between the Calyra and the Benia. The river is currently a neutral space during the war with the Teiusans. Benia is a very rocky and mountainous kingdom. It shares a border with Calyra. They have some valleys that lie host to their cities, which tend to be built into the mountains. They are known for their weaponsmithing and their riding of dragons. Their capital is Dragon's Rocks. This is dug into a mountain near the back of the Benian territory. Moton is a kingdom hidden in the forest. They are forest dwellers who build their homes up in the trees. They are skilled healers, many believed to be druids of Elunara, goddess of the moon. Their capital is Moonmoss, but that was destroyed by the Teiusans. Their new capital is close to the Calyra border and is a makeshift city called Moon's Landing.

Races & Cultures

Everyone is the same race with a few key differences. They are all teiflings. Calyran teiflings are stronger than most teifling fo Mir. They have short tails as short as a bobcat's. They tend to also have curly or coily hair. Tend to be covered in warpaint. Benia Teiflings are shorter than most Teiflings. They also tend to have darker or muted skin/hair colors. They have long, thick tails. They have long, flat hair. Tend to have tattoos that tell stories around their bodies. Moton Teiflings tend to be long and legthy. They have curly to flat hair. They tend to have the most vibrant colors for hair/eyes/skin. They have long prehensile tails.

Current Conflicts

The war of Teiuses. This war was caused by the cult of Teiuses gaining so much power that they overthrew the kingdoms. They follow the god of chaos, Teius. Teius hates all other gods, but especially hates Elunara. They attack the kingdoms in hopes of converting everyone to Teiusan and spreading Chaos. Teius has granted its mages the ability to summon orcs and other monstrous forces to kill.

Magic & Religion

The cult of Teius. The cult wants to kill all other deities and spread chaos. They are followed by Teiusans. Elunara. The goddess of animals and the moon. She is a healer and also a great fighter. Her followers tend to be druids, empowered by the powers she grants them. The Moton follows Elunara. Oros. The god of the sun and horses. Calyra follows Oros. Udar. The dragon king. He is the eternal dragon and god to the Benian people.
