In the waning years of the Holy Roman Empire, the rise of the undead and the looming threat of ancient vampire families plunge Europe into chaos, while political intrigue and witch trials ignite fear across the land. Amid plague, contested succession, and a fractured nobility, the surviving humans must navigate treacherous alliances and limited magic to decide whether a woman can ascend as Empress and restore order to a world teetering on the brink of annihilation.

The only race is human, but cultures are vastly different, the Germans and Bavarians are quite segregated, living in the central landmass, this is where the capital city states exist, making up a vast contribution to the Holy Roman Empire, on the outskirts of the Empire, the bohemians, Franks, Polish, Slavs, Mediterranean's, Hungarians, Swabians, Dutch, Danes, and other smaller populations.

Current Conflicts

With the aging Emperor Sigismund, the Luxembourg dynasty faces extinction, causing a rift in the Holy Roman Empire of Germany, the invasion of King Lutger of the Franks is aimed at halting the process of choosing an heir. Slavic mercenaries hired by different city states tear through the land, working as the puppets for the cruel Prince Maximilian of Hungary, eager to take the throne through any means. Princess Aphelia, the daughter of Emperor Sigismund would be the right choice for Empress, but the common people won't accept a woman on the throne. Plague tears through Europe as the Dead begin to rise. Fear takes place in the land as the witch trials take place. Nobles frightened to rule and choose a successor.

Magic is the ability of a select few, witches, warlocks, shamans and druids. Most of which live remotely as to not have their magical dealings interfered with. However powerful people employ mages and alchemists. The religion of the majority is Roman Catholic, a lot of Pagans and occasionally theirs are Jews, Muslims, Hindis and so on.
