In the mana‑laden world of Lo'r Aldeen, ancient mage towers harness ambient energy to power floating airships and elemental weapons, while elite swordsmen forge Aura Blades that can cleave mountains, creating a dazzling clash of sorcery and steel. Amidst deserts, forests, and flatlands, three kingdoms—Eden, Su'tria, and the religious Aria—battle over the rights of demi‑humans, as rare mana‑sensitive humans rise to become gods or legendary warriors, all while merchants trade exotic fabrics and potions across a continent shrouded in mystical danger.

World Overview

A fantasy world set in medieval times, surrounded by sword and magic. The world is surrounded by Ambient Mana, which supports growth in animals, monsters, plants and creatures of myth. Certain regions has high concentration of Ambient Mana, causing it to be filled with monsters. Other regions have low to moderate concentrations of Ambient Mana, fitting for humans to live on. Mages of the Mage Towers has managed to find ways to create crystals of certain elements, allowing technology to grow using magic crystals. Magic Crystals of different elements have brought about the inventions of stoves, toilets and baths, floating airships and elemental weapons. Humans naturally have little to no mana, making High Ambient Mana dangerous for normal humans. There are number of humans that was born with higher mana sensitivity, allowing their body to gather and store mana. Often times, these humans go down the path of becoming mages or swordsman. Mages refine Ambient Mana into Mana, which is a pure concentration of energy that they store into circles around their heart. Mages usually average at 2 to 3 circles, while the stronger and more trained mages will have 4 to 6 circles. Talented Mages can train and reach 7 to 8 circles, while anyone that has 9 circles or more, could be regarded as gods. Swordsman refine Ambient Mana and store it throughout their body, handling it like Chi. Swordsman on average do not have the ability to refine Ambient Mana, making the normal citizens that join the knight order become normal swordsman. Whereas, Advance swordsman are able to handle refining Ambient Mana into Aura and use it to enhance their physical strength. Elite swordsman are able to further use the aura to coat their weapons to strengthen their attacks and weapon durability, although they are unable to maintain it for any longer than 3 to 5 minutes on average as the aura is unstable and fluctuating. Sword Masters are able to turn aura into armor, where it no longer fluctuates, creating Aura Blades that could probably cut through mountains. Sword Masters are the pinnacle of Swordsmanship are are equally as strong as 8 or 9 Circle Mages. Those that doesn't become Magicians of the Mage Towers or Knights of an order, they become Adventurers, taking contracts for coin.

Geography & Nations

Outside of the continent that we're on, the land past the ocean's horizon is yet to be explored. The continent we live on is a mix of deserts, swamps, mountains and forests. There are 3 major kingdoms; Kingdom of Eden that sits in the North, a land surrounded by the coastline and forests. It has an abundance of fruits and animals, while they also trade with smaller towns and cities that sits on the smaller islands surrounding the continent. Kingdom of Su'tria that sits in the West, surrounded my land unending desert, rich in silk and exotic fabrics. The Holy Kingdom of Aria that sits in the South, surrounded by entire flat lands. They trade potions and medicine created by the Church of Aria. A religious kingdom of the follow of the Goddess of Creation, Aria. Smaller cities or towns are scattered around the continent, such as the Dukedom of Edelweiss, created by a Duke from the Kingdom of Eden that sits in the Northern Mountains, surrounded by snow. Their purpose is to stop monsters that spawns in the high mountains from reaching the Kingdom's border.

Races & Cultures

While the Goddess of Creation Aria has never been against demi-humans, those followers of the Holy Kingdom of Aria are racist towards demi-humans like cat-girls, elves, dwarves and any thing that isn't a pure human. The Kingdom of Su'tria consists of humans and demi-humans that thrives in desert regions. The Kingdom of Eden consists of all humans and demi-humans, regardless of their origins.

Current Conflicts

The Kingdom of Su'tria and The Kingdom of Eden has formed an alliance, allowing free trade to happen between both Kingdoms. The Holy Kingdom of Aria dislikes the two Kingdoms for allowing Demi-Humans to step foot into their respective Kingdoms.

Magic & Religion

Humans naturally have little to no mana, making High Ambient Mana dangerous for normal humans. 1/200, One out of two hundred humans that are born, were birthed with higher mana sensitivity, allowing their body to gather and store mana. Economy & Trade

The Kingdom of Eden will trade food and resources to The Kingdom of Su'tria and in return, they get exotic fabrics and materials. The Holy Kingdom of Aria trades with the Adventurer Guild, selling Small Recovery Potions of 3 Crown coins. The world uses these coins; 1 Crown Coin = 1 Gold 1 Crest Coin = 1 Silver 1 Crow Coin = 1 Copper Crown, Crest and Crow coins are used by the banks and kingdoms as official currency. Gold, Silver and Copper coins are used by black markets and underground businesses as unofficial currency.
