After the Second Big Bang, Vieska collapsed its fractured kingdoms into a single, glittering empire where the New Race harnesses boundless magic and finance‑driven tech to build dazzling cities like Utopia, while the Mixed Race scrambles through crime‑ridden slums in Favorites and Simmering, dreaming of a chance to ascend into the glittering elite. In this high‑stakes world, every birth is a gamble of power, and the line between wonder and war blurs as technology and sorcery fuel both utopian splendor and ruthless underworld ambition.

World Overview

a world full of technology and rich in magic. the world was split in multiple countries and kingdoms, often causing war and power surges. but after an event called "the second big bang", everything changed, as every country and kingdom was united into one single kingdom, that is also called vieska, just like the planet. the second big bang brought up a "new race" of human, and also brought high levels of technology and magic in the world, which were missing before. the new race started building major city´s, meanwhile the "mixed races" from the world before were fighting for their live and building slums.

Geography & Nations

There are 4 cities in vieska: Utopia: the capitol. rich in technology and magic. luxurious infrastructure. all big corporations and powerful people live here (only for new race, mixed race people are not allowed to live here by law) Five House: the second best thing after utopia, also rich in tech and magic, just not as big. some people of the "mixed race" were able to make a living there, as it is not forbitten for "mixed race" people to live here (unlike utopia) Favorites: low magic, low tech, low infrastructure, high crime rate, every day here is a fight for survival Simmering: shares the same traits as Favorites, just not as bad. still not comparable to utopia and five house, but at least a little managable

Races & Cultures

The New Race: Powerful and rich in magic and tech, living in utopia and five house. The Mixed Race: Mostly poor, often unlucky regarding the tech and magic, mostly living in favorites and simmering, but some make it to five house, living a better live

Current Conflicts

The Mixed Race wants to live a better life, as they have very poor infrastructure and high crime rates, while utopia has everything good for themselves. it´s a very big rich vs. poor narrative, most mixed race people dream of living in utopia, while the new race tries everything to keep them out of it.

Magic & Religion

Magic is given at birth at random, acting a little like genes. new race people are often born with very strong magic, while the mixed race often has weak magic. but sometimes, it´s the complete opposite. it is mostly based on luck what you are born with. magic is used in harmony with technology, building wonderfull cities like utopia. where every technological marvel from every sci fi movie and everything great about fantasy novels is possible. the technology is purely finance based, meaning everybody is able to aquire most technological marvels, if they have the money for it. everything should be scifi fantasy. but magic and tech are not only used to build great cities, but they are also used for crime in this world.
