World Overview

Magic is common in this world, and it is a mid-evil fantasy setting so mid evil technology and magic is derived from being in touch with the weave if you are so blessed or it comes at a price to be able to wield it those are the only ways to us it.

Geography & Nations

The Arcane circle occupies the mountains to the north they are natural born sorcerers they hold magic in high regard and look down on those who are not naturally born into it, but they will teach others to use it and teach them the price of using the weave. The Earthshatter Clan occupy the forests to the south and are a group of druids they watch over the forest from their hidden grove deep within and control this territory. The Lions Banner control everything to the west in the plains and down to the seaside it is a traditional mid evil Kingdom with mighty and just King Edor sitting on the throne. The Blackthorn Dynasty control everything to the east into the waists and deserts they are a group of rogue's thieves and cut throats out cast from all other societies in the world no one really knows who runs them or if anyone does.

Races & Cultures

Mainly humans control the west in The Lions Banner territory but all are welcome who show no threat and only wish to live in peace they are constantly at odds with the Blackthorn Dynasty in the east these two do not see eye to eye and the Lions banner wishes to snuff them out to begin restoring peace to the realm. To the south where the druids live in the Earthshatter clans territory its a mix of wood elves and humans a gnome or dwarf is not uncommon LL re welcome as long as the mean no harm to the forest they have no political stance as long as no one endangers their sacred land. To the north in the Arcae circles territoryits controlled by humans and high elves all are welcome who have natural use of the weave but those who do not have to earn their way on they do not seek control of the realm but look down on all those who do not have touch with the weave. To the east in the Blackthorn Dynasty territory it's a mix of all races orks goblins humans dark elves gnomes half breeds of anything all outcasts and bandits they just want to bring chaos to the land in their form of freedom. There are numerous small villages and towns on outskirts of territories that do not really have an allegiance and don't really belong to a faction that us where some people choose to reside to stay out of politics and the last races are draconic and halflings

Current Conflicts

The Lions Banner is trying to figure out who runs the Blackthorn Dynasty so maybe they can cut the head off of the snake and squash out the bandits and thieves. The Blackthorn Dynasty has recently or, so it is thought tried to make and attempt on the good kings life but not everyone is convinced it's them something isn't right and the other 2 factions are being looked at as well no one knows who is really friend and who is really foe.

Magic & Religion

Somera is goddess of the weave, and she chooses who to bless at birth with the capability to tap into it and she also is the one who collects the toll for using it without the connection. Thorin is the god of nature and who the druids pray to for their powers and to protect their forest and keep their grove secret. Anguis is the god of battle and fighting warriors and armies alike pray for his blessing for a swift hand and protection and his chosen few he grants immense strength and reflexes its almost other worldly. Jidal Is the god of chaos and who is the main source of worship and power in the eastern realms he grants powers to his followers to help them sow chaos in the world. The Lions Banner kingdom is a mix of worship of Anguis who the armies and warriors pray to but there is also Sol the god of the sun he is the god of creation and all that is and ever will be his worship is few in number because people do no think this can be true.

Planar Influences

There is a god plane and this is where those who worship their gods go when death comes and certain individuals when they are the chosen favorite of their god get to go visit if brought by their god to them.

Economy & Trade

All trade goes through the lions banner and it distributes out through the world they trade with everyone but the Blackthorn dynasty who get their goods from shady back door deals of thievery. Common currency is gold with silver and copper being the 2 smaller denominations.

Law & Society

Justice in the lions banner is done by a judge and jury everyone deserves a fair trial the blackthorn dynasty is lawless its kill or be killed no rules the druids ask their forest for a sign of judgement and the people to the north rely on divination to come to a verdict. adventurers are not very commonplace and people are a little wary at first until the vet them.
