In Shattered Space, the remnants of a once-unified galaxy drift in colossal freighter convoys and sprawling city‑ruins, where high technology and rare arcane powers collide under the uneasy truce of the Freeland Empire and the Yogath Confederation. Amidst untamed worlds and forgotten relics, clandestine cults, ancient war‑machines, and resource‑driven skirmishes threaten to ignite a new cataclysm in this fractured, star‑bound frontier.

World Overview

High technology and high magic. Space travel as well as most civilizations scattered among the Space stations and massive ship convoys.

Geography & Nations

The worlds that host civilization are mostly untamed and still filled with wildlife and unexplored geography. Only two major empires exist still after the war among the stars known as the Great Seperation. The Freeland Empire is a meritocracy that is heavily democratic with many freedoms. The Yogath confederation is an empire with strict authoritarian rule and law, but fair and just living conditions. The Freeland empire mostly inhabits massive space freighter convoys and small untamed worlds and asteroids. The Yogath confederation inhabits large relic and tomb worlds with massive sprawling city ruins that are being slowly rebuilt as well as large space stations gathered in clustered groups.

Current Conflicts

Since the Great Separation only two major empires remain and they are uneasy but neutral to one another. Occasional disputes over mineral or resource claims and small colony worlds and settlements.

Magic & Religion

Magic can only be used by a handful of races most normal common races have no magic at all. It's rare to be born with the inate ability to use the arcane forces.

Historical Ages

The Golden Age of Cooperation was what existed before The Great Separation. Many worlds are now considered tomb worlds or relic worlds from the empires that where destroyed during this great galactic wide conflict. These worlds hold forgotten history and technology that may or may not hold political or individual value.

Monsters & Villains

The Cult of the Eyeless Void are doomsday claimers that belive in the ideal that to eradicate all life and civilization would restart the galaxy for a new chance at true peace. Ancient robots may still be running war time programs hidden or trapped in places forgotten by time.
